“One of them is a world-renowned perfumer, good enough to hold up her family business. The other is a legendary architecture and gained the title of being the modern-day Lin Huiyin.”
“Plus, they both live in country Z. Aren’t they better choices? Why would you ditch what’s close to you and pursue something that’s been used by others?”
“Mo Huan!” Gong Yi’s face tightened, “If you say another word, you can get the **** out of here!”
Mo Huan’s face froze. She realized that Gong Yi was actually furious and got nervous.
She only entered this social circle after that one event and that was why she’d been able to act so confidently in front of him.
She thought he would take her side no matter what. Who knew that there would e a day when he would yell at her because of another woman.
That thought made her hate this woman even more.
The atmosphere turned awkward. The others hurriedly tried to reconcile the situation, “Ah, Huanhuan, enough already. Catching feelings are more plicated than that. Don’t make bother Gong sound like a questionable person.”
“Brother Gong hates it when people question him. Why would you run where the gun is pointing at? Brother Chen is here as well. You’re making this awkward.”

Everyone hated losing face in front of friends. He was no exception.
The others also felt embarrassed for Gong Yi. After what Mo Huan had said, the others felt like Qiao Qing’s intention may have been impure.
But now it looked like, Gong Yi was being one-sided?
One of the boys was about to speak out to fix the situation when Mo Huan smiled, “Let’s play golf and go horseback riding? The weather’s good today for outdoor activities.”
“Sure!” The young man smiled, “But, brother Chen, you wore a suit and that’s going to be hard to play in. Do you want to get changed?”
Lu Gechen smeared his cigarette into the ashtray and glanced at Qiao Qing. Then he said, “I’m not in the mood today, but I’ll watch you guys play.”
“As long as you aren’t leaving.” The young man grinned, “Then, there are six of us. It’s easier to split up the teams this way.”
He then went to Gong Yi, “Brother Gong, let’s go.”
Gong Yi pulled on Qiao Qing’s hand and tried to stand up.
Qiao Qing, out of reflex, threw his hand away, “I’m not going.”
Everyone heard this and froze again.
Gong Yi, on the other hand, leaned into her and landed his hand on the armrest beside her. Once again, he engulfed her between his arms and his presence.
