Jun Yexuan’s eyes narrowed, “If I ever catch you sneak into her room again, I will eat fox meat!”
The fox, “…”
It turned its furry face towards Qiao Qing and pointed at the man with its tiny paw. It tattle tailed, “Ack, ack, ack!”
That guy’s trying to scare me!
Qiao Qing said, “He isn’t making an empty threat.”
The fox, “…”
“How miraculous!” Mu Jinghang excitedly said, “This little guy’s far more playful than the tiger Qingqing!”
Qingqing, “…”
Just then, Qi Yusen left his room as well. When he saw Qiao Qing’s speechless face, he asked, “What’s wrong?”
“Ah, nothing.” Jun Yexuan glared at Mu Jinghang and hugged Qiao Qing, “Let’s get downstairs.”
Inside the living room.
While he stared at the group, he smiled and asked, “What about it? Did you decide to take on the mission or no?”
Before Qi Yusen or Jun Yexuan could speak, Qiao Qing blurted, “I accept.”
“How straightforward!” Gong Yi got up, “You can e to my pany with me later. I’ll assign you an assistant from the Gong Corporation. You can purchase whatever ingredients or materials you want.”
Jun Yexuan’s face went dark, “You’re asking her to go with you to your pany?! In your dreams!”
Gong Yi sighed deeply, “Third young master Jun is being a little too difficult. She wants to make perfume - without the proper space and equipment, how will she do that? Plus, don’t you remember that she knows ancient martial arts? How could I ever take advantage of her? If you don’t feel safe, you can go with her.”
Jun Yexuan huffed and Qiao Qing patted the back of his hand, “I’m okay. You should stay home and work. The Qi Corporation has other brothers who can help out, but the Jun Corporation only has you. Don’t waste your time on me.”
Jun Yexuan, “Then let me send you off.”
Qiao Qing nodded, “Okay.”
After breakfast, Jun Yexuan and Qi Yusen rode Gong Yi’s car with Qiao Qing to the Gong Corporation.
The fox wanted to e along but Qiao Qing forced it to stay home.
When they got to the pany door, Jun Yexuan finally went back to deal with all the backlogged work from the last couple of days. Qi Yusen, on the other hand, started to look for Queen.
After the two left, Gong Yi shrugged at Qiao Qing and finally started being himself.
“Those two are being so suspicious. Is it really necessary to defend against me like I’m a wolf?”
Qiao Qing ignored him and Gong Yi didn’t pursue, “Let’s go.”
He then led Qiao Qing through the main entrance. When the workers saw the CEO bring in a girl, they all glanced over in curiosity.
By the time the CEO led the girl into the elevator, everyone exploded and discussed whether there would be a Mrs. CEO soon.
In the elevator, Gong Yi turned to the cold-looking Qiao Qing.
“Even third young master Jun and young master Qi are worried about me. Yet you aren’t at all worried about what I might do to you?”
Qiao Qing didn’t even shoot him a look, “You don’t have the capability to.”
Gong Yi, “…”
As if his petitiveness had been ignited, he pressed his hands on either side of her head and lifted her chin, “Then, let me try.”
He then leaned in for a kiss.
The next second, the shrill scream that sounded like a pig being butchered shot out of the elevator.
Luckily, the “CEO only” elevator was very soundproof and that helped save Gong Yi some embarrassment.
After the elevator arrived as it was told, Gong Yi first pressed the “up” button, then held onto his crippled and collapsed arm with his other hand.
