“I’m his father’s widow and Leng Jie is his brother. Isn’t it the right thing to do for him to take care of us two?! Just where is he?!”
“Even if I am not his biological mother, I’m still his mother! I’ve been here for so long yet he still hasn’t e down to greet me?!”
Zhou Xin replied, “Like I said, the young master is busy and definitely has no time to deal with you. Do you not understand the language I’m speaking?!”
“These valuable guests have been waiting to eat but you’ve been wasting everyone’s time. Don’t you feel bad?!”
The fox, “Ack, ack, ack!”
My stomach is flat from hunger!
Ma Xiaoyun’s face dropped, “Are you addicted to being rude to me?! Even Leng Yan doesn’t dare to talk to me this way! Who gave you the right to speak so disrespectfully towards me?!”
Zhou Xin said, “The young master admires you because he is a nice person and is well educated. I’m just a redneck.”
“I shout back whenever I hear something I don’t like. I was never able to control my mouth. If you don’t like it, go back to where you came from. If you keep hanging out here, I will call security!”
Mu Jinghang laughed until he fell onto the couch.
“You!” Ma Xiaoyun pointed at him while her body shook. Then, she coldly snickered, “You always claim he’s busy with work! Just how busy does he have to be for him to never e out to greet me?!”
“These two people from foreign countries are more influential than him yet they aren’t like him – at least they are here.”
“The way I see it is that he is so sick he cannot get out of bed! You really think there are walls that are pletely enclosed?! The rumors are going insane out there!”
She then placed her hand on her hip and pletely let her arrogance show.
“It’s better if he’s dead. Once he’s dead, my son would be the only inheritor of the Leng family. When that happens, my son and I will never have to listen to anyone.”
Her words made Zhou Xin’s face drop. He ordered in a cold voice, “Security! Throw her out!”
“I’m leaving.” Ma Xiaoyun bit back. Satisfied, she threw back her newly permed hair and before the security got here, she headed for the door.
However, when she arrived at the door, she felt her knees go weak as pain shot through her.
Then, with a bang, she fell to the ground.
“Who is it?! Who attacked me?!”
Ma Xiaoyun turned her head around in fury just to see a cold-faced girl walk down the stairs.
When she saw the reflective blades in the young woman’s hand, Ma Xiaoyun’s heart quivered, “Who are you?!”
Qiao Qing didn’t speak. With one hand in her pocket, she played around with the blades in her other hand and walked to Ma Xiaoyun. She then got down on one knee.
She used the blades and patted the woman’s face, “Those men don’t hit women. But I’m no man. Leng Yan respects you because you’re a generation ahead of him. But I don’t respect you. If you dare to say anything ill of Leng Yan again, I will make sure to send you down there first.”
She didn’t need to specify what “down there” meant.
Ma Xiaoyun felt the cold blades against her face and the pressure that the girl held. Fear took over her and her tongue curled when she spoke, “I… I was wrong. I won’t say anything bad anymore. I won’t!”
Disgusted, Qiao Qing stood up, “**** off!”
Ma Xiaoyun heard this and scrambled her way out of there.
Zhou Xin went up to Qiao Qing with much appreciation, “Ms. Qiao, thank you!”
“What’s there to thank me for?” Qiao Qing’s face was calm, “pared to what he did for me, this is nothing.”
Zhou Xin once again exclaimed just how different Qiao Qing was in parison to that mother and son pair.
