Elara was experiencing a shift in consciousness between sleep and wakefulness. The concept of ti had begun to lose its aning for her. Her eyes were closed, yet she could see everything around her. The coldness of the tal, the vibration of the devices, the sharp electric scent in the air... All of it overlapped. None of these sensations existed on their own. The presence inside her perceived everything together with her. This connection was no longer a passive coexistence. It was turning into a struggle that slowly resembled a battle to take control.

When her body was fixed onto the platform, she felt it physically, but the real pressure ca from within. Control was not just slipping... it was breaking apart. The body was still one, but the will trying to command it had split into two. At this point, Elara realized that sothing else had replaced fear. This was not pure fear. This was the cold and clear awareness of the possibility of ceasing to exist.

Adrian was watching from behind the glass. This ti there was no curiosity in his eyes. This ti there was calculation. On the screens in front of him, Elara’s energy levels were rising abnormally, yet this rise was not chaotic. It was like the collision of two different frequencies. Not opposing each other, but rising by forcing one another.

"Start," said Adrian. With that single word, everything in the room changed. When the devices activated, Elara’s body tensed involuntarily. But this reaction was not only physical. The presence inside her responded as well. For a mont, everything stopped. As if both sides were weighing what would happen. Then electric fluctuations began to run through her entire body.

When Elara wanted to breathe, the breath was not under her control. When she wanted to open her eyes, the eyes did not belong to her. Sothing moved inside, and this movent was not to retreat. This ti it was to step forward. Elara wanted to stop this mont, but even her thoughts alone were not enough. Her eyes suddenly opened. But the one looking was not Elara.

Adrian had been waiting for this. He imdiately leaned forward and continued to observe the process. "Continue," he said, his voice now faster and sharper. Elara’s body slightly tilted its head to the side. Her eyes had reached that familiar tallic orange glow, but this ti the glow was harsher and more foreign.

"You are forcing it," said that voice. This sentence was directed straight at Adrian. A smile appeared on Adrian’s face. "I am separating you," he said. "And this ti I will succeed." This was not a threat. This was a decision that had already been made.

When Elara felt this inside, panic rose again. But this ti panic was not alone. There was anger as well. She could not distinguish who that anger belonged to. It was impossible to tell whether it belonged to her or to the presence inside her.

Suddenly, the body tensed forward. The devices began to give warnings. The balance of the environnt was rapidly breaking down. "Not stable!" a guard shouted. But Adrian did not step back. "Continue!" he said.

At this point, the process began to spiral completely out of control. The two consciousnesses inside Elara were no longer trying to suppress each other. They were pushing each other out. This was not a fight to remain in the sa body. This was a fight over who would survive. And the body was not strong enough to withstand this battle.

Elara scread inside. This ti she truly scread. "Don’t be silent!" And for the first ti... she received an answer. That voice belonged to her. Elara suddenly found herself sowhere else. This was not a place. This was entirely an internal space. It was neither dark nor light. It was a boundless void. But she was not alone. There was sothing in front of her, and that sothing had no shape. It was a presence. The Moon.. But this ti it was not watching her. It was waiting for her.

Elara did not step back this ti. "If we continue like this," she said, her voice for the first ti this clear and determined, "we will both lose." There was a silence. But this silence was not empty. The Moon spirit was weighing her words. "This body..." it said finally, "is weak." Elara did not step back. "But this is the only thing we have." This sentence shifted the balance. For the first ti, the struggle stopped. It was not peace, but it was a pause. And this pause... proved that Elara had not disappeared.

Outside, the systems had begun to collapse. Energy levels suddenly reached their peak. The devices were going out of control. "This is impossible!" soone shouted. Adrian took a step back for the first ti. This was no longer an experint. This had reached a point that could not be controlled. Elara’s body suddenly went completely limp. And then— A distortion ford in the air.

This wave was not physical, but it affected everything in the room. The devices shut down. The lights flickered. And for a few seconds, everything fell silent. Elara’s eyes opened again. This ti... it was truly her. She took a breath. It was difficult, but she was the one taking it.

Adrian saw this. And... he was not sure. Was this a success, or the beginning of sothing entirely new?

Elara slowly lifted her head. Her eyes were still glowing, but this glow was no longer uncontrolled. The Moon was still inside her, but this ti it was not entirely separate from her either. "You’re late," said Elara. This sentence did not seem to be directed at Adrian. It felt like it was aid at sothing bigger, sothing older.

In the forest, Rowan suddenly stopped. He had felt sothing. This was not a trace. This was a call. Kael raised his head at the sa mont. They both looked in the sa direction. This ti, there was nothing between them. Only the sa target.

Rowan did not speak. But he started running. Kael followed him without thinking for even a second. This was no longer a search.

This... was a war to take her back.

And behind the tal walls, Elara was no longer the sa.

This was a new beginning.

And this beginning... would not be a battle that only one would win.
