When Munni saw Xu Yisen trailing behind Fujino, a look of surprise appeared on her face, clearly unaware of why Yisen would be here.
After a mont of distraction, she composed herself and smiled amiably at the staff, saying, "Thank you for your hard work, please enjoy your al."
Watching them take the food out of the delivery boxes and place it on the dining table one by one, the staff smiled happily and thanked Munni, "Thank you for your hospitality."
While everyone was dining, Xu Yisen subtly shot a glance at Munni.
Familiar with him as Munni was, she imdiately understood the subtle aning in his look—let’s talk in a quiet corner.
She left the hall under the pretense of going to the restroom, and at that mont, Xu Yisen was already waiting for her in the corridor outside the restroom.
Munni, in high heels, walked gracefully towards Yisen, finally stopping when they were only a ter apart.
She stared at Yisen, asking nonchalantly, "Is there sothing you wanted?"
"I wanted to explain about last night when Yu Ge and I were photographed kissing by the reporters..."
Xu Yisen’s words were cut off by Munni, who calmly reminded him, "Yisen, we’re just friends. You don’t need to explain anything to . I’m not interested in whether you kissed Xia Yuge or not, or if the news is real."
Her detached and cold attitude indeed irked Xu Yisen a bit.
Because he was worried she might misunderstand after seeing the news, he specifically ca here to explain in person.
Who would have expected that she wasn’t the least bit concerned about the rumors between him and Xia Yuge, and her attitude of keeping him at a distance really left him feeling helpless.
Xu Yisen took a few steps forward, closing the distance between him and Munni.
Munni didn’t flinch, slightly raising her head, her expression cool and aloof as she looked at him.
"You just made news with Xia Yuge last night, and today you’re so openly coming here. Yisen, aren’t you afraid of being called a two-timing scumbag?"
Her words unconsciously carried a trace of disdain.
Triggered by her words and tone, Xu Yisen felt a bit dissatisfied and reached out to embrace Munni’s slender waist, pulling her gently into his arms.
Munni looked up at his well-defined jaw, a trace of aloofness spreading across her delicate brow. She commanded in a low voice, "Let go of ."
"I wasn’t kissing Yu Ge at the ti! The photo was entirely a misunderstanding caused by the angle!"
Munni chuckled softly, "Even if you weren’t kissing, being so intimately close doesn’t seem like nothing’s going on."
Xu Yisen didn’t respond to Munni, but a faint, mischievous smile flickered in his eyes as he looked down at her.
"Ah, so Munni is jealous," he teased with a few rogue notes in his playful voice.
Munni couldn’t help but roll her eyes, completely baffled by how he had co to this conclusion.
Before she could open her mouth to retort, Xu Yisen had already put another hand under her chin, lowering his head to kiss her rosy lips.
His kiss was gentle and lingering, filled with countless emotions he wanted to convey to her.
The kiss didn’t last long, just a few seconds before Xu Yisen released Munni.
The smile on his lips resembled a satisfied cat, lazy yet enchanting.
"Kissing Yu Ge was fake, but wanting to kiss you is real."
Once again teased by Xu Yisen, Munni was quite displeased, yet she couldn’t find the right words to criticize his lewd behavior. So, after a brief pause, she angrily raised her sacred middle finger at him and then turned and left.
