As she opened her mouth again to utter a word, Xu Yisen swiftly bent down and placed a gentle kiss on her forehead, then dashed away before Qin Muni could completely explode.
The word Qin Muni was about to blurt out was stuck in her throat due to his sudden action, leaving her montarily stunned and unable to react.
By the ti she snapped back to reality, Xu Yisen’s figure had already disappeared down the hallway.
Xu Yisen sat at his desk, carefully pondering over what Wang Ruoran had just said... admitting mistakes, giving gifts, swiping cards, eating delicious food, making a grand gesture.

The restaurant was about to open, and Qin Muni had a lot of things to deal with.
Thanks to that, Xu Yisen didn’t have to worry about not being able to find her.
At lunchti, he drove to the restaurant and indeed saw her car in the parking lot.
With a smile on his lips, he picked up the bouquet of champagne roses from the passenger seat, opened the car door, and walked steadily towards the inside of the restaurant.
At that mont, Qin Muni was sitting in the hall with Fujino Doxu and two other sous-chefs, along with four kitchen helpers, tasting the dishes.
"The ran soup is very rich, and the noodles have a nice chewiness."
"Agreed, the taste is very authentic."
The group took turns comnting on the dozen or so dishes on the dining table.
The first to notice Xu Yisen suddenly appearing in the hall was Fujino Doxu, sitting next to Qin Muni.
He gently nudged Qin Muni with his elbow, then leaned slightly, whispering in her ear, "Your ex-husband is here."
Qin Muni instinctively looked up, and the graceful silhouette of Xu Yisen crashed into her vision unexpectedly.
She looked up to et the pair of eyes filled with tenderness that Xu Yisen had. "What are you doing here?" she pouted, her tone not very friendly.
"I happened to see the champagne roses you like while passing by a flower shop." Saying so, he handed the bouquet of champagne roses towards her.
Qin Muni lowered her gaze to glance at the bouquet he offered but didn’t reach out to take it. "So what?"
"So I wanted to buy them for you." His hand still extended, the smile on the corner of his lips remained elegant and gentle.
The others seated at the dining table all watched this scene with smiles on their faces.
Seeing her reluctance to take the flowers, Xu Yisen spoke with a guilty tone, "Are you still mad at ?"
Qin Muni nodded unceremoniously, "Mm."
"It’s all my fault, will you forgive ?"
His gaze was focused and affectionate, and the apology ca out of his mouth with unusual sincerity.
However, Qin Muni was completely unmoved by his apology.
"Are you done talking? If you are, you can leave. I’m very busy right now."
"Are you really busy?" After his words fell, his calm gaze slowly swept over everyone present.
For so reason, the people who were originally there for the show suddenly felt a bit uneasy under his slightly cold gaze.
"Ah, I suddenly rembered there’s a new dish we can try, I’ll go prepare it in the kitchen."
"I’ll help you."
"I’m coming too."
The employees seated at the dining table each found an excuse to leave, and soon, only Qin Muni and Xu Yisen remained at the table.
Xu Yisen sat down beside Qin Muni, pretending not to notice the impatience flashing across her face.
Seeing that Qin Muni had no intention of accepting the flowers he offered, Xu Yisen first set the flowers aside, reached into the pocket of his suit pants, and took out his wallet.
With elegant movents, he pulled out two gold cards from the wallet and handed them to Qin Muni.
