When she arrived, it was Liang Jiuchen who brought her here, so she didn’t drive. Now wanting to leave the party early, she had no choice but to ask Liang Jiuchen to borrow his car.
Seeing her lack of interest and asking to leave, Liang Jiuchen suggested, "Bored already? How about we go out for a drink?"
"No, I want to go ho."
"Tsk tsk, you’re getting more boring by the day." Liang Jiuchen complained dismissively, then took out his phone from his pocket to call his driver, instructing him to pick up Munni.
After hanging up, he continued, "You’ve had a bit to drink; it’s better to let the driver take you ho."
Munni had no objections. She nodded, and casually took a glass of champagne from the tray of a passing waiter.
She slightly tilted her head, took a sip of champagne, then gazed ahead sowhere, contemplatively asking, "Jiuchen, what is so good about Xu Yisen that makes so many won swoon over him?"
Liang Jiuchen followed Munni’s gaze to see Xu Yisen, expressionless, surrounded by groups of won, unclear on what they were saying.
On closer inspection, it’s not hard to discern a hint of impatience on his face.
Liang Jiuchen, amused, glanced at Munni, who looked puzzled, "Sis, you seem to know the answer better than I do."
Hinting to Munni that she used to be one of those won!

Munni’s response made Liang Jiuchen laugh out loud, his curiosity growing even more about why Munni and Xu Yisen divorced, considering she used to idolize him?
Unable to contain his curiosity anymore, he finally asked, "Sis, why did you divorce Yisen?"
"Why?" Munni slightly narrowed her enchanting peach blossom eyes, murmuring softly why, her expression falling into contemplation, as if seriously pondering Liang Jiuchen’s question.
After a mont, she gently blinked at Liang Jiuchen, the crystal light above casting into her deep black pupils, as if countless stars burst within them, radiating unparalleled brilliance.
"I don’t know either. There was just one mont when I desperately wanted to give up on him, and so I did."
What she didn’t tell Liang Jiuchen was how desperate she felt at that mont.
Like being pushed to the edge of a cliff, with no room to turn and flee, only to take a leap.
Liang Jiuchen wanted to say more, but the ringing of his phone from his pocket interrupted him.
He glanced at the caller ID and put the phone back in his pocket. "The driver is here, I’ll walk you out."
"Mmm."
Munni nodded and left the banquet alongside Liang Jiuchen.
What she didn’t know was that as she turned to leave with Liang Jiuchen, the figure she had been watching for so long had also turned around. His usually cold eyes now softly rippled with warmth, intently watching her gradually departing figure.
Only when her figure disappeared from sight did he slowly retract his gaze and then step away.

When Munni reached her doorstep, she unexpectedly saw a familiar figure there.
Xu Yisen heard the approaching footsteps and put his phone back in his pocket, looking up at the elegantly approaching Munni.
"Why are you here?"
Munni walked up to Xu Yisen, slightly raised an eyebrow, her voice inadvertently revealing a hint of unwelco towards him.
"Why didn’t you greet at the party earlier?"
