Her tone was cautious and expectant.
Xu Yisen lowered his gaze, looking down at her pitiful, sympathetic face.
"The company has matters to attend to, rest well."
After tactfully refusing, he gave Xia Yuge no chance to keep him, and walked out of the ward with steady steps.
Just as he walked out of the ward, Tang Haoliang, who was waiting outside for him, approached and whispered in his ear.
As Tang Haoliang’s words fell, Xu Yisen’s brow slightly arched imperceptibly.
The two then left the hospital one after another, and it wasn’t until they got into the car that Xu Yisen asked, "When did Xia Weifu return?"

Munni’s restaurant, after closing for a day, arranged for several bodyguards to guard the entrance the next day, in case Xia Yuge’s crazed fans tried anything extre again.
Although the restaurant reopened normally, because of the news and so protesters gathering at the door, business had dropped dramatically.
After three days in the hospital, Xia Yuge was finally discharged. As soon as she stepped out of the hospital, reporters who had been waiting for days rushed forward like hunters spotting prey, surrounding her.
"Miss Xia, were you pushed down the stairs by Munni?"
"Why did Munni push you down the stairs? Did you have so conflict?"
"Was the conflict because of Chairman Xu?"
"We heard you suffered a mild concussion. Will this affect your upcoming work schedule?"
"After you were admitted, did Chairman Xu co to visit you?"
With sunglasses and a mask on her face, Xia Yuge was guarded by her agent, assistant, and bodyguards as they escorted her into a van.
Once she was in the car, her agent briefly answered the reporters’ questions: "Yu Ge doesn’t rember anything about what happened that day. Her body is still very weak; the doctors advise her to rest well. She’ll resu work once she recovers. Thank you to all the fans and dia for your concern."
After finishing her words, she smiled slightly at the cara, then quickly moved to the van’s passenger seat, opened the door, got in, and instructed the driver to leave.
As the car started, the agent turned around and looked at Xia Yuge, who had taken off her sunglasses and was idly playing with her phone, saying with a hint of helplessness: "Yu Ge, President Liu has already canceled all your upcoming schedules."
"Is that so?" Xia Yuge asked indifferently, a slight disdain flickering in her narrowed eyes regarding President Liu’s actions.
"Are you going to see Chairman Xu? If the company really plans to put you on ice, all your efforts over the years will be for nothing."
If an entertainnt company plans to sideline a star under its wing, it undoubtedly spells the end of that star’s career.
If Xia Yuge were really sidelined, it would certainly be a fatal blow to her.
Xia Yuge gazed out of the window. The pale yellow sunlight shone through the glass, into her beautiful eyes, yet it couldn’t soften the cold aura flowing through her brows and eyes. She responded in an ethereal tone: "Let’s see if they have what it takes."
Having finally reached the pinnacle of the modeling world, she wouldn’t allow anyone to pull her down from the clouds back to hell.
