When Qin Muni slightly furrowed her brow and looked towards the door of the private room at the end of the bar, Yuan Chengmo raised his eyebrow subtly, following her gaze towards the private room door.
The next second, a tall figure erged from the private room, unexpectedly catching both of their eyes.
Upon seeing Xu Yisen’s secretary, Tang Haoliang, appear in the restaurant, Qin Muni already suspected that Xu Yisen must be inside the private room.
What she didn’t expect was that following Xu Yisen out was Xia Yuge.
When Yuan Chengmo saw the two of them co out one after the other from the private room, he smirked with a careless attitude and said, "Really good at choosing a place for a rendezvous."
Qin Muni withdrew her gaze, picked up the porcelain pot, and poured so soju into her glass, nodding in agreent, "Indeed."
The three light words left people unable to fathom her attitude.
The restaurant is not very big, so when Xu Yisen left, he naturally noticed Qin Muni sitting at the bar.
A look of surprise swiftly crossed his face, then he softly instructed Tang Haoliang to first send Xia Yuge and her assistant off.
Upon hearing his words, Xia Yuge showed a clear expression of reluctance, but Xu Yisen did not give her a chance to resist. He walked over and sat beside Qin Muni.
"Muni, what are you doing here?"
Qin Muni took a sip of the soju, gave Xu Yisen a side glance, and replied, "Here to welco my senior." She said, pointing to Yuan Chengmo sitting beside her.
Only then did Xu Yisen notice the man sitting next to Qin Muni. He looked up at Yuan Chengmo, who flashed him a very bright smile; however, it was not sincere, and if one looked carefully, a trace of sarcasm flickered in his eyes.
"Mr. Xu, nice to see you again."
After saying this, he glanced at Xia Yuge, who was reluctantly leaving with Tang Haoliang, and teased, "Mr. Xu sure is lucky with won."
When he first saw Yuan Chengmo, Xu Yisen only felt he looked familiar, but once he spoke, Xu Yisen rembered where he had seen him before.
"Long ti no see."
He casually exchanged a greeting, directly ignoring Tang Haoliang’s teasing.
"I haven’t been able to reach you these past few days. There’s sothing I need to talk to you about. Give a call when you’re free."
Xu Yisen’s voice was steady and pleasant, his tone gentle like water. While speaking, he looked at Qin Muni with eyes as gentle as the spring sunshine.
"Okay." Qin Muni put down her glass and looked at him, then nodded lightly.
"I’ll be leaving now."
"Okay."
After Xu Yisen got up and left, Yuan Chengmo, who had been silent for a while, finally spoke up, chuckling, "Still like him?"
Qin Muni instinctively denied, "No."
Yuan Chengmo bent his right arm, resting his elbow on the bar, with his hand supporting his face, allowing him to clearly see every subtle change in Qin Muni’s facial expressions from this angle.
His gaze was lazy, carrying a hint of a shallow smile, "Silly girl."
After speaking, he extended his left hand, allowing his long index finger to gently glide over Qin Muni’s skin, tracing the outline of her eyes, delicately illustrating her exquisite almond-shaped eyes.
"Liking soone, even if you cover your mouth, will still show in your eyes."
The expression on Qin Muni’s face slightly stiffened, then she turned to look at Yuan Chengmo.
His eyes were clear like crystal, reflecting her sowhat flustered appearance.
Though she thought she hid her feelings for Xu Yisen carefully, how... had she still been found out?
