Munni’s beautiful eyes stared directly at Xu Yisen, the dim lighting in the bar concealing a hint of determination in her gaze.
"She ca to the office to apologize for the recent news that implicated , and then I told her to speak frankly. She said she wanted my help to secretly handle the incident of being accused of organizing prostitution.
But I refused. She cried and begged , saying it was Xia Weifu who forced her, and it wasn’t of her own will, yet I still didn’t agree.
Earlier, I asked Secretary Tang to investigate and found out that Xia Weifu had hacked into the director’s computer and caught sothing against the director, using it to blackmail him into letting Xia Yuge off.
Although Xia Yuge got away with it this ti, I think Xia Weifu’s actions have already angered the director."
No one likes to be blackmailed, especially soone as powerful as the director.
The email Xia Weifu sent him was anonymous; he doesn’t know who Xia Weifu is, but he might take it out on Xia Yuge, whom Xia Weifu wanted to help.
Still not hearing the answer she wanted, Munni felt inexplicably disheartened, "Is that all?"
Xu Yisen nodded, turning his gaze away from Munni and took a sip of his drink from the glass in front of him, "Then I had Secretary Wang see Xia Yuge out."
His tone was so earnest that Munni even doubted whether the photo she received was fabricated, that Xia Yuge hadn’t even attempted to seduce Xu Yisen, rather than Xu Yisen deliberately hiding it from her.
After that, they chatted on and off, but never brought up the topic again.
After Munni had half a bottle of wine, she was noticeably tipsy. She put down her glass, raised her wrist to glance at her watch, and said, "Ti to go back."

With that, she staggered away. Xu Yisen was concerned about her being too drunk to walk steadily and quickly got off the high chair to help her to the bathroom.

"Okay."
She waved at Xu Yisen and continued walking towards the bathroom.
Munni entered the bathroom and went into a stall. After locking the door, she crouched slightly and vomited into the toilet.
Because she only had a simple apple for dinner, she drank so much on an almost empty stomach, and now her stomach was churning.
After vomiting for a while, she finally felt a bit better, reached out to press the flush button to wash away the ss in the toilet.
As she was about to get up and open the stall door to leave, she suddenly heard the sound of high heels clacking against the floor outside and a woman’s voice speaking.
