After sending the text, she bowed her head and played with her phone. The waiter who had just left returned with the coffee she ordered and placed it in front of her, then left again.
Munni sat at the table for nearly ten minutes, still waiting for Xia Weifu’s reply. As she decided to send another text to Xia Weifu, she suddenly heard the sound of footsteps.
The crisp sound of high heels hitting the floor grew closer, and Munni instinctively looked up. A familiar figure unexpectedly entered her line of sight.
Yu Ge stopped in front of Munni, took off her sunglasses, and curled her lips into a mocking smile.
"He’s not coming to et you today." Her cold voice carried a distinct certainty.
After speaking, she casually sat down in the sofa chair opposite Munni.
"Hah, I can’t believe you actually want to et Xia Weifu." Yu Ge scoffed, as if she found Munni’s secret eting attempt with Xia Weifu exceptionally foolish and laughable.
Munni gracefully picked up her coffee cup, took a sip, then responded in an unwavering tone, "I also can’t believe you would do sothing as shaful as organizing prostitution."
Her retort clearly hit Yu Ge’s sore spot; the recent unsuccessful attempt to seduce Yisen once again surfaced in her mind, causing her inexplicable anger.
Yu Ge’s red lips curled into a aningfully ambiguous smile, "Thanks to Yisen, I was able to evade legal punishnt."
Munni could clearly hear the underlying intention in her words, ant to provoke a rift between her and Yisen.
"Really? You attribute all the credit to Yisen, yet you forget Xia Weifu’s contributions to you."
With subtle irony in her words, she indirectly hinted to Yu Ge that she fully understood how she had truly escaped legal consequences.
It wasn’t because Yisen pulled strings for her; rather, it was due to Xia Weifu’s assistance.
"Of course, I must give credit to Yisen. If not for his help over the years, I wouldn’t have achieved such success."
After pausing, she playfully winked at Munni and spoke in a sweet tone, "Want to guess why Yisen is so devoted to supporting ?"
Yu Ge’s gaze was obviously ill-intentioned; Munni knew what she was going to say next was definitely not pleasant.
Munni did not answer Yu Ge’s question; instead, she raised her wrist impatiently to check the ti on her watch. Her face inadvertently showed disgust, clearly indicating she had no desire to waste any more ti with Yu Ge.
However, Yu Ge had no plans to let her leave so easily. Seeing Munni deliberately ignore her question, she wasn’t displeased at all; instead, she giggled softly before saying, "Because Yisen feels he owes . Back then... if not for his mother’s objections, our child might already be in elentary school."
In her words, she blatantly implied that the child she aborted was actually Yisen’s.
Yu Ge’s malevolent confession deeply made Munni realize that she was intentionally trying to sow discord between her and Yisen.
As a result, she lazily leaned back against the sofa, her red lips slightly curving, the smile at the corner of her mouth cold and sarcastic.
"So, after telling you once carried Yisen’s child, you expect to feel guilty, break up with Yisen, and bless you two with happily ever after?"
After speaking, Munni sneered disdainfully, then continued, "Don’t be ridiculous, okay?"
