"No, I’m just speaking the truth. Munni, when are you and your husband going to have a little cousin?"
The simple and straightforward question from the child montarily startled Munni. She then chuckled lightly, "What, you want and your uncle to have a little cousin to play with you?"
"Yeah, yeah, once the little cousin is born, I can teach him how to play basketball."
Holding Qin Muni’s hand, Xinxin heard Ruirui’s words, looked up at Qin Muni beside her, and added, "Munni, I can teach the little cousin how to play piano."
The eagerness of the two children wanting her and Xu Yisen to have a child left Qin Muni in a mixed state of amusent and exasperation.
Naturally, she couldn’t respond to them as seriously as she would to Xu Yisen, saying she wasn’t ready to have kids yet.
Thus, she just laughed and replied, "Sure, when the little cousin is born, rember to teach him basketball and piano."
When the three of them reached the living room, Xu Yisen was still changing clothes in the room, so they sat on the sofa, chatting while waiting for him.
The two little ones seed genuinely excited about having a little cousin to play with them, and as the topic started, their conversation beca increasingly animated.
"Munni, once he’s here, I can read him storybooks too."
Qin Muni gently stroked Xinxin’s head and smiled, "Great, after the little cousin is born, I’ll invite you over to tell him stories and lull him to sleep."
"Okay, okay," Xinxin nodded excitedly.
After those words, Ruirui further added, "When the little cousin is a bit older, I can take him out to do boyish things."
His words made Qin Muni laugh silently, and she asked curiously, "Boyish things? What might those be?"
"Taking pretty girls out to play."
His response amused Qin Muni so much that she couldn’t help but laugh out loud, realizing... this little guy might not only grow up to be a heartthrob but perhaps even a charismatic gentleman.
When Xu Yisen finished changing clothes and walked into the living room, he heard Qin Muni’s cheerful laughter, though he didn’t know what the three were discussing to make her so happy.
But listening to her delightful laughter, Xu Yisen couldn’t help but smile himself and approached the three on the sofa.
"What’s making you all laugh so much?"
Seeing Xu Yisen walking over, Ruirui politely called him and then brightly answered his question, "We’re talking about how when you and Munni have little cousin, I want to teach him basketball and take him to do boyish things, and Xinxin wants to teach him piano and tell him stories."
Xu Yisen was sowhat surprised at their topic of conversation; he inadvertently shifted his gaze to Qin Muni, who was also looking at him, her eyes revealing a hint of helplessness.
Evidently expressing... it wasn’t her idea to talk about this topic.
Xu Yisen smiled warmly at her and then gently patted Ruirui’s head, "Then when the little cousin is born, you two will have a big responsibility."
"Don’t worry, Uncle, Xinxin and I will definitely take good care of little cousin, so you and Munni should quickly have one."
Xu Yisen couldn’t tell if Ruirui’s eager urging for him and Qin Muni to have kids was influenced by his family or if he genuinely just wanted a little cousin to play with.
"Alright, we’ll do our best."
"Go for it."
The encouragent from the two kids left Qin Muni and Xu Yisen amused yet exasperated. After exchanging a glance, they wisely changed the topic, reminding the two that it was ti to head out to the aquarium.
