After sending Xu Yisen to the hotel entrance, Qin Muni returned to the hotel with Li Yiqin to play golf at the hotel’s golf course.
When the two arrived at the course, a caddie was already waiting for them. Upon seeing them approach, the caddie slightly bowed and greeted them, "Hello Director Qin, Manager Li."
Li Yiqin nodded slightly and gestured for Qin Muni to take a seat in the golf cart, only sitting on the other side after Qin Muni got in.
The golf cart moved steadily across the lawn and stopped in the middle. The caddie got off, took the bag holding the golf clubs and balls from the back of the cart, and carried it on his shoulder.
After getting off, Qin Muni followed Li Yiqin to the teeing area, where the caddie selected a club for each of them and handed it to them.
"Manager Li, I haven’t played golf for a long ti; don’t laugh at later."
"Where are such words coming from, Director Qin? Who doesn’t know your and the chairman’s golfing skills are quite impressive."
Qin Muni smiled slightly, aid the club at the ball on the lawn, confird the angle was right, maintained a standard graceful posture, and then swung the club vigorously. The ball swiftly flew a distance before gently descending and sliding forward into the hole.
Li Yiqin couldn’t help but praise, "Great shot!"
Qin Muni smiled slightly, evidently very pleased with her previous stroke.
After the two played golf for a while, the caddie walked over to whisper in Li Yiqin’s ear. After nodding to the caddie, Li Yiqin approached Qin Muni, who was preparing to take another shot, and respectfully said, "Director Qin, a Mr. Tong Jiyun wishes to et you."
Qin Muni swung the club sharply, sending the ball flying quickly. She glanced at the ball’s direction and, without waiting for it to land in the hole, turned and handed the club to Manager Li.
"I’m just tired now; let’s go take a break."
Li Yiqin naturally understood that this was Qin Muni’s agreent to et Tong Jiyun.
She handed her club to the caddie and got on the golf cart with Qin Muni. The caddie placed the clubs in the back of the cart before moving to the front to start the golf cart.
Tong Jiyun was sitting in a café waiting for Qin Muni, from where he could see the outside golf course perfectly.
Li Yiqin led Qin Muni to Tong Jiyun’s table, and then was dismissed by Qin Muni.
Tong Jiyun stood up and slightly bowed to Qin Muni. Quin Muni sat on the armchair humorously watching the man who was being overly courteous with her.
"Mr. Tong, it’s been a while. How have you been?"
Tong Jiyun cautiously glanced at Qin Muni sitting opposite him, as if trying to gauge her mood.
Hesitating for a couple of seconds, he helplessly began to speak: "Miss Qin, to tell you the truth, I have encountered so troubles lately, which is why I wanted to ask for your help."
Tong Jiyun is the president of the fashion brand Ria Company. Recently, Ria had Xia Yuge as the showstopper model in a fashion show, which displeased Qin Muni and several of her friends who attended the show that day.
These won are all renowned socialites and ladies of high society, and their dissatisfaction naturally affected Ria negatively. Moreover, Ria has been plagued with nurous troubles, caught up in a plagiarism scandal, and even exposed for tax evasion.
All these things happening simultaneously seed too coincidental, and it stirred suspicions of deliberate arrangents behind the scenes. As for who could be orchestrating this, everyone knew well, which is the reason why Tong Jiyun approached Qin Muni.
