Seeing her co out, the driver calmly got out of the car, opened the rear door for Qin Muni respectfully.
Qin Muni slowly got into the car, fastened her seatbelt, and then took out her phone from her bag to call Xu Yisen.
The phone hadn’t rung for long when Xu Yisen answered, "Hey, Munni."
The driver hit the gas, and the car started moving, gradually leaving the grim detention center behind.
The winter afternoon sunlight stread through the glass window into the car, casting light on her fair face.
Hearing the familiar voice on the other end, a smile involuntarily ford on Qin Muni’s lips, reminiscent of a sunbeam piercing through clouds after rain, incredibly radiant.
"Hey, Yisen, what are you up to?"
"Playing pool with them, and you? Have you visited Bai Sitong already?"
"Yeah, just ca out of the detention center."
"Heading ho now?"
The friends accompanying Xu Yisen perked up their ears to eavesdrop on the conversation from the mont Xu Yisen picked up Qin Muni’s call.
Upon hearing Xu Yisen gently ask Qin Muni, ’Heading ho now?’, they could already guess what little sches Xu Yisen had in mind.
So, in unison, they chid in, "Wow, thinking of running off again?"
Their teasing voices reached Qin Muni’s ears through the phone, making her chuckle, "No, just going shopping, you have a good night with them."
"Want to join you?"
"No need, I’ll hang up for now, have fun."
"Okay."
Ending the call, Qin Muni turned to the driver and instructed, "Let’s visit the cetery."
"Yes, Miss Qin."
Qin Muni went to the graveyard to pay respects at her father’s grave, and by the ti she left, the sky had gradually dimd.
Once back in the car, the driver asked if she was heading back.
Qin Muni hesitated for a couple of seconds before answering, "Go to the club."
"Yes, Miss Qin."
At that mont, Xu Yisen and friends were in a club suite, having finished their ga of pool, now drinking, singing, and chatting on the sofa.
"Yisen, you and Munni have been getting along well lately, when do you plan to remarry?"
Xu Yisen glanced at the questioning Liang Ziyuan and saw other friends redirecting their gaze at him upon Liang Ziyuan’s inquiry.
"Not sure, whenever Munni wants to remarry."
"Have you proposed yet?"
"Planning to."
As the remark landed, they couldn’t resist teasing him, "Why is progress so slow? Show your decisive market tactics!"
Upon hearing their suggestions, Xu Yisen rely shook his head, a gentle warmth flowing between his brows, "No way, I can’t bring myself to use tactics on her."
They exchanged looks, knowing Xu Yisen was certainly bewitched by love.
anwhile, the suite door suddenly opened.
Xu Zhenhai looked toward the door, and upon seeing Qin Muni, his expression slightly froze before jesting, "Speak of the devil!"
Intrigued by his words, they lifted their head toward the door, finding Qin Muni walking elegantly into the suite.
Catching their gaze, she offered a graceful, poised smile, "Hope you don’t mind dropping by uninvited."
The purpose of Qin Muni’s visit was obvious to them, simply wanting to see Xu Yisen.
