"Yisen, could you co over and help cut the fish?"
After posting on Weibo, Qin Munni gently asked Xu Yisen for his assistance.
He casually placed his phone on the bar and got up from the high stool in front of it, "Hmm, okay."
Xu Yisen walked over to the counter, and Qin Munni handed him an apron, which he put on before staring at the fish on the cutting board and asking, "How should I cut it?"
"Slice it."
"Hmm, okay."
The soft light cast a warm glow on them, making the two busy figures at the counter seem especially cozy under the illumination.
Once people reach a certain age, they start to fear loneliness and despise coming ho to an empty, pitch-black house every ti they open the door.

In the three months after his divorce from Qin Munni, every ti Xu Yisen ca ho from work and opened his door, he was overwheld by that empty feeling, inexplicably missing Qin Munni.

December 23rd, the day before Christmas Eve.
Qin Munni and Xu Yisen got up, washed up, had breakfast, and then started packing. Shortly thereafter, they drove together to Purple Clouds Mountain.
After quickly packing his suitcase at ho, Xu Yisen pushed it to Qin Munni’s door.
With her long hair down, Qin Munni looked helplessly at Xu Yisen standing outside the door and said, "Co in, I still need a little more ti to get ready."
"Hmm." Xu Yisen nodded, walked into the house, leaving his suitcase in the entryway, and followed Qin Munni inside.
He hesitated for a mont, staring at her long, glossy hair cascading down her back, before suggesting, "Let help you style your hair."
As he finished his sentence, he noticed Qin Munni’s footsteps slightly pause before she responded without turning around, "Better not."
Xu Yisen could easily sense the reluctance in her voice, understanding it was because the last ti he braided her hair poorly, she was still a bit apprehensive.
So, he explained, "I’ve been learning how to style hair lately."
Qin Munni stepped lightly and gracefully up the stairs, her figure elegant and delicate as she faced away from Xu Yisen.
With a smile in her voice, she teasingly asked, "Do you plan to use as your test subject again?"
"Practice makes perfect, so I can style your hair more often in the future."
"Please spare my hair."
"Why don’t we have a daughter one day, and I can play with her hair."
Qin Munni jokingly teased, "So I would carry a daughter for you just so you could play with her hair?"
"Not exactly, daughters are a mother’s treasure; having one could cheer you up."
His flattering words left Qin Munni in a mix of amusent and exasperation. She walked into the room, with Xu Yisen closely following her until she sat down before her vanity, and at that point, he stopped behind her.
Through the mirror, Qin Munni looked at the sowhat stubborn man standing behind her and laughed, "What, you really want to style my hair?"
Xu Yisen nodded, honestly replying, "Hmm, I do."
