Worried that Yisen wouldn’t be able to find you after his call, Munni played a ga near the door.
Yisen walked up and noticed she was playing the fruit-slicing ga.
Munni’s fingers swiftly glided across the screen, and she asked calmly, "Is sothing wrong at the company?"
Yisen shook his head, "No, everything’s fine."
Seeing his reassuring response, Munni didn’t think much of it.
The round ended with a good score, and the machine spat out a strip of ten reward coupons.
When you collect a certain number of coupons in the arcade, you can redeem goods at a small shop in the corner.
Every ti Munni visits, she first takes a stroll around the shop to see if there’s anything she’s eager to exchange, then returns to the arcade to win more coupons.
After putting away the coupon into a small bucket, she said to Yisen, "Let’s see if there’s anything worth redeeming in the shop."
Her expectant expression made Yisen chuckle, "Alright."
He took the bucket of coupons from Munni’s hand, holding it with one hand, and naturally held Munni’s hand with the other.
The two strolled around the small shop, and Munni spotted a plush teddy bear that could record sound, requiring 1,200 coupons to redeem.
As they were walking out of the shop, Munni clung to Yisen’s arm and asked softly, "Yisen, are you cold?"
Yisen glanced sideways at Munni, who seed to be acting coyly, clearly seeing through her intentions.
"It’s okay."
"Okay ans a little cold."
"...!"
"Then let’s dance to warm up."
"...!"
He remained silent, and Munni could almost imagine the slightly speechless look on his face.
She pursed her lips in a secret smile, pretending not to notice Yisen’s slight disdain, and holding his arm, headed to the dance machine.
In the arcade, there were two dance machines; two teenagers were energetically dancing on one, while the other was vacant.
Munni let go of Yisen’s arm, quickly swiped on the dance machine with her ga card, and waved her hand in front of the sensor to select a five-star difficulty song.
Having chosen the song, she gave Yisen a look to signal him to stand beside her and compete in dance.
Yisen raised his lips slightly, stepping onto the dance machine sowhat reluctantly. Before the ga started, he jokingly reminded Munni, "It’s been a long ti since I’ve done this, so don’t bla if my score’s low."
"Got it."
Munni nodded and said okay, and the ga began.
The two of them followed the cues on the screen, stepping on the corresponding pads underfoot.
The song was five-star difficulty, and the cues appeared rapidly, demanding quick synchronization and precise steps.
Munni’s ankle, although much better, couldn’t handle the high pace. Soon, she was struggling, and a faint pain erged from her ankle.
Yisen noticed Munni slowing down and caught her wince from the corner of his eye, suddenly rembering that Munni’s sprain hadn’t fully healed.
He quickly stopped his dance steps, walked in front of Munni, and stopped her without a word.
