The deputy director’s answer made Qin Muni breathe a sigh of relief, realizing just how silly the question she had asked was. She gave the deputy director a shy smile before turning to continue her hurried walk toward Xu Yisen’s ward.
The bodyguards at the ward’s entrance were all beaming. Upon seeing Qin Muni approaching, they clapped their hands and congratulated her, "Madam, congratulations."
To Qin Muni, Xu Yisen waking up was undoubtedly a piece of trendously good news. She smiled foolishly and thanked the bodyguards, displaying none of the sharpness she had when dealing with Xia Weifu and Sun Yueming. At this mont, she was like an excited little schoolgirl who had scored high on a test.
One of the bodyguards opened the ward door for Qin Muni. Inside stood Bai Wan Yun, Xu Haotian, Tang Haoliang, the hospital director, Xu Yisen’s attending doctor, and two nurses, making it indeed quite lively.
Qin Muni’s eyes quickly swept over everyone, finally landing on Xu Yisen, who was lying on the hospital bed.

Qin Muni returned his smile, walked to the bedside, bent down, and kissed him lightly on the cheek, "Thank you for making it through."

He struggled to slowly raise his right hand, his warm palm touching Qin Muni’s cheek, "Munni, I missed you so much."
Joy spread across Qin Muni’s brows and eyes, her cheeks a faint pink due to her excitent.
She caught a glimpse of the people still standing in the ward and realized she might be a bit out of line flaunting her affection with Xu Yisen like this.
She reached out and held Xu Yisen’s hand that was touching her cheek, then placed his hand down.
She then stood up straight, looked at the attending doctor standing on the other side of the bed, and asked, "Doctor, how is Yisen doing?"
"His condition is better than I expected. I believe he will be able to move to a regular ward soon."
Qin Muni nodded with a light smile.
"I’ll step out for a bit, and please don’t chat with Chairman Xu for too long; he just woke up and still needs to recuperate and recover."
"Alright, thank you for your effort."
As the attending doctor had just left, Qin Muni smiled and said to the people in the ward, "I’ll return to my room and be right back, Mom and Dad, you chat with Yisen first."
"Okay, go ahead."
After giving Xu Yisen, who was watching her from the bed, a gentle smile, Qin Muni turned and left the ward.
The doctor walked on, chatting with the nurse about Xu Yisen’s condition, as Qin Muni quickly caught up to him, "Doctor Yang, could I have a word with you?"
Doctor Yang nodded and signaled the nurse with his eyes, and she tactfully left first.
"Thank you."
Doctor Yang replied with a light laugh, "It’s your achievent. But I’m rather curious about what you said to stir him that made him wake up so quickly."
For the past month, Xu Yisen’s friends and family, including Qin Muni, had been talking to him daily, attempting to wake him, but nothing had worked.
