Qin Muni naturally caught the teasing in his words. She bent down a little, cupped Xu Yisen’s cheeks with her hands, then leaned over and kissed his thin lips.
"Don’t catch a cold, okay?"
Despite all his dissatisfaction with his current outfit, Xu Yisen felt all his grumbles lt away like early spring snow into a puddle under her gentle kiss and caring words.
He nodded lightly, "Mm."
The bodyguard pushed Xu Yisen in the wheelchair, with Qin Muni walking by his side, as the three of them took the elevator to the hospital rooftop.
As soon as the door to the rooftop was pushed open, a cold wind blew in.
Fortunately, Xu Yisen was dressed warmly enough not to feel cold.
There were a few long wooden benches on the rooftop. After the bodyguard pushed Xu Yisen to one of them, Qin Muni asked him to step aside.
Qin Muni sat down on the long bench beside Xu Yisen and then tilted her head to rest it on his arm.
The noonday sun was quite bright, casting a faint gleam over them.
Qin Muni gazed at the city covered in sunshine in front of her, as if draped in a sheer veil, exuding a faintly hazy beauty.
"I heard you whipped Xia Weifu?"
A voice filled with amusent ca from beside her. Qin Muni sat up straight again, catching a glimpse of Xu Yisen’s thin lips curving into a mischievous smile.
Clearly, Tang Haoliang had already told Xu Yisen everything about how she had imprisoned Xia Weifu and Xia Yuge and gave Xia Weifu a whipping.
Qin Muni did not answer Xu Yisen, assuming tacit approval, she pouted and mockingly complained, "Secretary Tang is so unreliable."
Xu Yisen chuckled softly. When Tang Haoliang told him how on that day, Qin Muni had arrogantly whipped Xia Weifu, who had caused his injury, his mind involuntarily sketched the image of Qin Muni holding a whip, striking Xia Weifu.
It must have been quite a sight...
"Are they still held up in the suburban villa?"
Qin Muni nodded, "Mm."
Tang Haoliang had asked her a few tis about how to deal with the Xia siblings, but since Xu Yisen hadn’t woken up yet, Qin Muni was unsure of how to handle them.
Now that Xu Yisen was awake, Qin Muni was so excited that she had completely forgotten about the two of them. If Xu Yisen hadn’t brought it up, she might have long forgotten they were still locked up in the suburban villa.
"How do you plan to deal with them?"
At his words, Qin Muni leisurely glanced at Xu Yisen, a playful smile on her face, "What do you think?"
"I’ll listen to you."
"Is any way of dealing with them okay?"
"Mm."
Qin Muni brought her face closer to Xu Yisen’s, seeming to want to see clearly the expression on his face, whether he was serious or bluffing.
She then teased, "If I deal harshly with your forr lover and her brother, won’t you be mad at ?"
"How could I bear to be mad at you? As long as you’re happy, it doesn’t matter how reckless you get, I’ll always have your back."
"Are you encouraging to get into trouble?"
Xu Yisen’s lips curved into a warm smile, and he gently shook his head, "No, I’m just declaring my stance."
Qin Muni mimicked Xu Yisen’s gesture, reaching out to stroke his head with the cotton hat, "Good boy, having the right stance is the only way to get a wife."
Xu Yisen couldn’t help but laugh at her words.
"Because Xia Weifu offended the JR Gang, JR has put him on the blacklist, making him one of the people they most want to destroy. I want to hand them both over to JR."
