Xu Yisen turned his head and saw a tall and beautiful woman standing beside him, unsure of when she arrived.
Xu Yisen slightly furrowed his brows, feeling that the woman looked familiar, and after two seconds, he realized it was Sun Ruru, Shao Chuyan’s cousin, who ca to his office yesterday asking for a role.
"Hmm." He nodded and withdrew his gaze, not paying further attention to Sun Ruru.
Sun Ruru did not feel awkward due to Xu Yisen’s indifference. She stayed put and also shifted her gaze to the jewelry held by the two staff mbers behind the showcase.
A glimpse of desire and envy quickly passed through her beautiful eyes beneath the long lashes.
Sun Ruru hid her true emotions well, with a pure and playful smile on her face, she naturally started a conversation with Xu Yisen, "Chairman Xu, are you choosing jewelry for your wife?"
"Hmm." Xu Yisen nodded a bit absentmindedly, clearly not very inclined to chat with Sun Ruru.
Glancing at Xu Yisen from the corner of her eye, Sun Ruru then earnestly looked at the jewelry being held by the two staff mbers and suggested with her red lips, "I think this dark green set on the left might suit Sister Muni’s temperant better."
The staff held two sets of jewelry with distinct designs and colors; one was dominantly dark green gemstones, while the other was sapphire blue gemstones.
Xu Yisen felt that both sets suited Qin Muni quite well.
After hearing Sun Ruru’s suggestion, he turned his head to ask Secretary Tang standing behind him, "Secretary Tang, what do you think?"
"Chairman, I actually think the sapphire blue set suits the Madam better."
The differing opinions made Xu Yisen even more undecided. After two seconds of hesitation, not knowing which set was better, he looked up and said to Manager Lin, "I’ll take both sets. Please package them for ."
"Yes, Chairman."
Manager Lin nodded slightly and then instructed the staff to package both sets of jewelry.
"The total is two million three hundred and fifty thousand."
Xu Yisen took out his wallet from his pocket, drew a gold card, and handed it to Manager Lin.
Sun Ruru, standing beside him, watched Xu Yisen’s generous paynt action, and for a mont, was srized. She felt quite envious of Qin Muni, who was about to receive the gifts.
After swiping Xu Yisen’s card, Manager Lin handed it back to him and gave the packaged jewelry in a bag to Xu Yisen.
"Thank you for shopping with us, Chairman. We look forward to your next visit."
Xu Yisen nodded slightly and handed the shopping bag to Tang Haoliang to carry. He then stood up from the high chair, and just as he turned to leave, he noticed Sun Ruru still standing beside him.
"Chairman Xu, it’s nice to et you here. Please give my regards to Sister Muni."
"Hmm."
Xu Yisen nodded and then walked away. During the few minutes he encountered Sun Ruru, he only gave her three perfunctory ’hmm’ responses, without offering any extra expressions, maintaining his cool deanor.
After leaving the mall, Xu Yisen instructed Tang Haoliang to visit a nearby flower shop to buy a bouquet of champagne roses that Qin Muni liked.
When Xu Yisen arrived ho, Qin Muni was sitting in the living room enjoying the cookies she just baked, pairing them with red wine.
As soon as Qin Muni heard the footsteps, she shifted her gaze from the TV to Xu Yisen, who walked into the living room. She instantly noticed the large bouquet of blooming champagne roses he held and the gift bag in his other hand.
