Qin Muni arched her beautiful brows, giving a slightly cocky hum, "I think so too."
Yisen was amused by her narcissistic attitude and reached out again to gently tap the tip of Qin Muni’s nose.
Before long, President Chen’s secretary arrived on the rooftop, carrying fried chicken in one hand and beer in the other.
His breath was unsteady, clearly having been instructed by President Chen to buy the fried chicken and beer in a hurry.
He placed the fried chicken and beer on the coffee table, bowing respectfully to Qin Muni and Yisen, "Chairman, madam, I’ve brought the fried chicken and beer you requested."
"Thanks a lot," Yisen said politely, reaching into his pocket to take out his wallet.
President Chen’s secretary saw his gesture and shook his head repeatedly, "President Chen said it’s on his tab, if there’s nothing else, I won’t disturb you."
As he finished speaking, seemingly afraid that Yisen would try to force money on him, he hurriedly left.
Qin Muni took out a bottle of beer from the shopping bag, opened the easy-pull cap, and handed it to Yisen first.
After Yisen took the beer, she took out another bottle from the shopping bag, opened the cap, tilted her head back, and took a big gulp, then exclaid in satisfaction, "So good!"
As soon as she uttered the words, she tilted her head back for another big sip.
"Take it slow, don’t get drunk again."
"Mm."
Qin Muni put down the beer bottle, took a pair of disposable gloves from the bag, and handed them to Yisen first, then took another pair to put on herself, before opening the box of fried chicken to take out a piece.
She opened the chili sauce, squeezed it onto the fried chicken, and then took a bite.
The fresh fried chicken had a crispy skin, and the at was tender, mixed with the spicy flavor of the chili sauce, satisfying Qin Muni’s taste buds.
"It’s really delicious, you should try it too."
Yisen didn’t particularly like greasy foods like fried chicken, but watching Qin Muni enjoy it with gusto made him curious if it was really that good.
In doubt, he took a piece of fried chicken from the box and ate it with chili sauce.
The taste of the fried chicken was quite good, and Yisen nodded at Qin Muni, indicating he was pleased with it.
The two finished the fried chicken and beer sent by President Chen’s secretary on the rooftop. Qin Muni had originally planned to give Yisen just one bottle of beer, keeping the remaining five bottles for herself.
However, under Yisen’s strong protests, she reluctantly handed over another bottle, repeatedly reminding him, "This really is the last one, take it easy."
Her protective stance over the beer was like a mother hen guarding her chicks, making Yisen feel a strange illusion, "Seems like I’m less important than a bottle of beer, huh?"
"A husband is precious, beer is even more valuable."
"You little heartless thing."
Qin Muni grinned cheekily at Yisen, "Are you mad? How about I give you a kiss, so you won’t be upset with ?"
Her tone was a bit cautious, as if she was really worried that Yisen might be upset by her joke.
"Mm, that’d be fine." Yisen nodded, not feeling the slightest discontent over Qin Muni’s joke.
Qin Muni put down the fried chicken, a sly smile playing at the corner of her lips.
Without even wiping her mouth, she leaned in and planted a kiss on Yisen’s cheek.
Suddenly, his previously clean cheek was marked with a greasy lip print from Qin Muni’s kiss.
