Mr. Xu replied, "I spent the first thirty years of my life suppressing my desires. For the next thirty years, I want to unleash them completely. Isn’t it fair?"

His absurd logic left Munni both amused and exasperated. She retorted with disdain, "I don’t think it’s fair." After all, she was the one being overpowered.

Of course, she didn’t voice the last sentence because she was sure that if she did, Mr. Xu would be restless again tonight.

After yawning, Munni slowly continued to walk towards the room, "I’m tired, let’s sleep."

"Mm."

The next morning, Mr. Xu had a eting at the branch office. When he woke up, he was careful not to wake Munni with his every move, but still, he ended up waking her.

She slightly opened her eyes to look at Mr. Xu, who was getting up, and then closed them again, asking in a sleepy voice, "Are you going to the company?"

"Mm, you can continue sleeping."

Mr. Xu’s steps towards the bathroom paused slightly. He went back to the bed, bent over, and gently kissed Munni’s forehead.

"Mm." Munni gave a soft response and went back to sleep.

They planned to fly back in the afternoon. By the ti Mr. Xu returned to the hotel after his eting at the branch office, it was already noon.

They had lunch with Wu Yuchen and Dong Yinru, and after browsing the mall nearby, they drove back to the hotel to pack and head to the airport.

During the three-hour flight, they read books together, and the ti passed quickly. When they arrived in G City, it was already evening.

First, Munni and Mr. Xu went to the supermarket to buy so groceries before heading ho. Mr. Xu prepared dinner while Munni curled up on the sofa in the living room playing gas.

She only put down her tablet and got up to go to the dining room when Mr. Xu invited her for dinner.

Ever since they got back together, Mr. Xu has been especially indulgent towards Munni. Previously, he wasn’t fond of cooking, but after they reconciled, he often cooks her favorite dishes.

He does his best to fulfill all of Munni’s requests, and he’s afraid she’ll get bored, so he rushes ho after work to be by her side.

Sotis, their friends can’t stand how he’s transford from being cold and aloof to a devoted partner, but Munni seems to enjoy it and is quite grateful for everything Mr. Xu does for her.

Since they returned from F City, both of them have beco busy planning the wedding details as the date is just over a month away.

Perhaps because of their constant busyness, ti has flown by unexpectedly, and it was already May.

In F City, there’s a tradition that the bride and groom should not live together a week before the wedding, so Mr. Xu moved back to the Xu Family a week prior.

May 1st, Labor Day, the day before their wedding.

As the marriage approaches, Munni felt surprisingly calm. After getting up in the morning and having a simple breakfast, she took a walk in the community park as usual.

While taking the elevator back ho, she saw Mr. Xu at her doorstep, just about to ring the doorbell, looking for her.

"Morning, Mr. Xu."

The sudden voice from the side surprised Mr. Xu a little. He turned his head to see Munni walking gracefully towards him.

He curved his lips into a gentle smile, his delicate features filled with warmth.

"Morning, Mrs. Xu."

When Munni reached Mr. Xu, he bent slightly and placed a tender kiss on her smooth forehead.
