Munni’s ho is filled with the atmosphere of a wedding celebration, the bright red wedding symbols catching the eyes of Shao Chuyan and Zhang Luxin as they walked in. They teased, "I rember your first wedding with Yisen, and now, years later, I get to attend your wedding again."
Their teasing made Munni chuckle lightly. She shrugged, "Hopefully, this will be the last ti."
"Oh, I heard Yuan Chengmo is going to be your main wedding officiant?"
Yuan Chengmo had sought Xu Yisen’s permission more than a month ago, wanting to attend the wedding as the main officiant representing the bride’s family.
Xu Yisen agreed, saying he should ask Munni for her opinion too.
Yuan Chengmo hadn’t ntioned this to Munni until about a week ago when he brought it up jokingly.
Munni thought he was joking at the ti, so she playfully agreed, not expecting Yuan Chengmo to actually take it seriously. Recently, he’s been busy with the wedding, trying to fulfill his duties as the main officiant.
Discussing Yuan Chengmo’s unexpected request, Munni couldn’t help but curl her lips in a smile, "Yes."
"Smart of him, if he can’t be a lover, then he’ll be an officiant."
They all knew about Yuan Chengmo’s feelings for Munni clearly. Initially, Munni was so focused on pursuing Xu Yisen that she didn’t notice Yuan Chengmo was pursuing her too.
Munni was amused by Shao Chuyan’s teasing, laughing heartily, "Senior can be a bit quirky sotis, but he’s really a good person. I hope he finds the right partner soon."
"With his carefree attitude, it’d be hard for him not to find a suitable partner. Don’t worry, there are plenty of won chasing him."
Munni nodded, taking Shao Chuyan and Zhang Luxin to the dressing room to show them the Chinese dress, the wedding gown, and another dress.
They couldn’t stop praising the dress designs and expressed how eager they were to see Munni decked out in the wedding dress and gown tomorrow.
Shao Chuyan and Zhang Luxin didn’t stay too long at Munni’s place and left for their hos after more than an hour.
After sending off the two, Munni realized she seed quite free, having prepared everything for the wedding and nothing left to busy herself with.
After ntally ticking off a list of tasks, making sure she hadn’t forgotten anything, she lightly treaded upstairs to the study, and as usual, curled up on the chaise longue to read.
Just as she settled on the chair, her phone buzzed. Picking it up, she glanced at the screen which displayed a WeChat ssage from Xu Yisen.
Munni unlocked the phone and opened WeChat...[Mrs. Xu, your mother-in-law kept drilling today, saying marrying you is my good fortune for three lifetis. She almost made feel worthless today.]
Munni pressed her lips in a smile, her thumb swiftly typing on the screen, replying...[Does mom-in-law have it wrong?]
On the other side, upon receiving her reply, Xu Yisen could even picture her looking a bit proud due to her smile at that mont, [You are definitely right.]
Munni: [Rember to abide by the Eight Honors and Eight Disgraces of a good husband after the wedding.]
Xu Yisen: [Yes ma’am, Mrs. Xu.]
[Considering your respectful attitude, you’re allowed to pick up tomorrow for the wedding.]

They bantered on WeChat for a while until Xu Yisen, having to be occupied again, sent Munni a voice ssage, letting her know he had to get back to work. He ended it by lowering his voice to say softly, I miss you, Mrs. Xu.
Munni couldn’t help her cheeks blushing upon hearing the voice ssage.
