Long Fei and Kong Fang cupped their fists and nodded before turning to leave.

He glanced at the won around, who were swooning like infatuated fans, secretly thinking that a pretty boy was popular no matter where.

How co in all this ti, no one praised him for being handso?

The Seventh Princess approached with a cheerful smile, so happy that she grabbed his arm.

She exclaid joyfully, "I knew he wasn’t your match. I didn’t expect him to lose with just three moves; it was too easy!"

Long Fei tapped this troublemaker’s head, advising her to behave in the future.

The Seventh Princess giggled, holding his arm and about to leave.

Wang Xiaoya, leading a group including Ye Qingcheng, approached with a teasing smile aid at Long Fei, saying, "Consort Prince, you’re quite the sight, especially with a beauty by your side. Truly enviable."

Ye Qingcheng chuckled, "Brother Jiang, we et again."

The Seventh Princess was unsurprised to see Wang Xiaoya but curious as she stared at Ye Qingcheng and asked, "Who might this sister be?"

Ye Qingcheng smiled and introduced herself, "A disciple of Yaochi, Ye Qingcheng."

The Seventh Princess raised an eyebrow, "From the Ye Family?"

Long Fei whispered, "She’s Ye Qingtian’s daughter."

The Seventh Princess was enlightened, "No wonder you look familiar; you’re Ye Qingtian’s daughter."

Ye Qingcheng laughed, "I owe thanks to the Seventh Princess for recognizing my father’s talents."

"That’s because your father is talented."

The Seventh Princess smiled warmly, not disliking this pretty young lady.

Their eyes twinkled with intelligence, clearly two of a kind.

She was, however, cautious of Wang Xiaoya, squinting as she smiled, "Miss Wang, you have business with my husband?"

Wang Xiaoya smiled, "Of course, but it’s sothing the princess can also know, no need to hide. Tonight, my master is hosting a Minor Peach Banquet at Tianque Pavilion, inviting geniuses from Celestial Realms City. They’ll discuss the Enlightennt of the Immortal King Palace, and we hope the Consort Prince and Seventh Princess will join."

The Seventh Princess curiously asked, "Why call it the Minor Peach Banquet?"

Wang Xiaoya laughed, "Because the peaches served at this gathering aren’t the legendary divine fruit, but newly cultivated ones. Thus, ’Minor Peach.’ If you can share useful information about the Immortal King Palace, you’ll enjoy these spirit fruits."

"Not real peaches, I’m not interested."

The Seventh Princess showed little interest, wanting to leave with Long Fei.

Wang Xiaoya said, "Though not real, they’re priceless spirit fruits that beautify and can keep the skin youthful for ten years."

The peaches from Yaochi Sacred Land are renowned for extending lifespan.

So pills can extend life but not maintain youth.

However, the peaches can preserve youth, being incredibly tempting for female cultivators.

Though wary of Wang Xiaoya, the Seventh Princess, tempted by the Minor Peach, forced a smile and agreed, "Alright, we’ll be there tonight!"

Wang Xiaoya nodded with a smile and left with her junior sisters.

Long Fei felt strange inside, wondering since when his decisions were dictated by this girl at his side!

He left with the Seventh Princess, riding a carriage back to the Imperial Palace.

Long Fei wanted to return to the barracks, but the Seventh Princess insisted he et soone.

She looked serious, with a touch of shyness, making it quite formal.

Long Fei guessed who it was, having prepared a gift in advance.

Following the Seventh Princess back to the palace, they went straight to the West Palace.

They stopped in front of the West Palace Empress’s palace and, after announcing their presence, entered with Long Fei.

The hall was luxurious and grand.

A woman sat in the main seat, with an elderly woman standing beside her.

In front of her, the Seventh Princess dared not be unruly; entering, she respectfully saluted, "Daughter greets Mother."

Long Fei cupped his fist, bowing slightly in salute.

The woman, dressed in a noble robe with a phoenix crown, smiled warmly, "Good child, there’s no need for such formality!"

"Thank you, Mother!"

The Seventh Princess giggled, inviting Long Fei to sit beside her.

The woman was her mother, the current Emperor’s wife.

She ordered tea for the two, scrutinizing Long Fei, "Are you that young genius from the border town, Jiang Hengyuan?"

"Yes!"

Long Fei nodded calmly.

It wasn’t his first ti eting the mother-in-law; he was well-experienced.

The Empress nodded approvingly, "Not bad, truly handso. No wonder the Emperor praises you, and Little Seven is smitten, sneaking private etings with you."

The Seventh Princess blushed, her head lowering in embarrassnt.

Long Fei modestly said, "Your praise flatters , Empress. It’s I who am enamored with the Seventh Princess. She’s peerlessly beautiful, and I’m incredibly fortunate to be with her. eting you today, I understand why she’s so remarkable; it all cos from inheriting your beauty and talent, Empress."

The Seventh Princess giggled, finding Long Fei’s flattery sowhat embarrassing.

The Empress laughed, "You cheeky boy, no wonder my daughter is so love-struck with you, such glibness to please a woman. I used to think from Little Seven’s stories that you were taciturn, but you’re quite different."

Long Fei stayed serious, "Empress, I’m usually a serious person. Just speaking the truth, no flattery intended."

The Empress waved her hand, laughing, "Alright, no more flattery here. I had Little Seven bring you to look at you and discuss your marriage. The Emperor once vowed to marry Little Seven to whoever saved her. A promise from the Emperor’s mouth won’t be rescinded. I heard your family is also in the Capital; find ti to bring them here. This marriage mustn’t be delayed, and parents from both families should et to finalize it."

The Seventh Princess thought Long Fei might refuse, but to her surprise, he readily agreed, "Alright, after these few days, I’ll bring them to et you, Empress."

The Empress nodded, "Very well, my daughter is unruly since childhood. With you looking after her, the Emperor and I can rest easy."

"Mother, what are you saying!"

The Seventh Princess pouted playfully at her mother.

She smiled indulgently, "Alright, I know you don’t like my nagging. I’ll stop wasting young people’s ti here with my talk. Go about your business, no need to linger with ."

"Then, daughter takes her leave!"

The Seventh Princess stood, bowing to her mother.

She disliked staying with her mother unnecessarily, too many rules and little fun.

Long Fei didn’t bow with her but instead retrieved a sandalwood gift box from his storage ring and presented it with both hands, "Empress, I ca in haste, unprepared for gifts. This pearl I obtained during deep-sea training, when ground into powder and applied, preserves youthful skin. I hope you won’t find it lacking."

The Empress gestured to the nanny beside her, who ca forward to take the box, opening it to show the Empress.

Inside was a fist-sized pearl, clearly a thousand-year-old treasure.

The Empress, liking Long Fei more and more, felt the boy had so etiquette.

She let the nanny keep the gift, smiling gently at Long Fei, "Thoughtful indeed!"

"As long as you don’t mind, Empress."

Long Fei laughed, saluting as he left with the Seventh Princess.

The Empress’s smile faded, turning to her nanny in curiosity, "What do you think of this boy?"

The nanny replied, "He’s polite, modest, but a bit immature, speaking sowhat flippantly."

The Empress laughed heartily, "Fair assessnt, he is a bit cheeky. I guess that’s what Little Seven likes about him! In the palace, everything and everyone is so serious and lifeless; he brings fun. With him, Little Seven needn’t be so restrained."

The nanny chuckled, "As long as you like him, Empress."

The Empress nodded, "Go tell the Empress Dowager there’s no need to reconsider this wedding. No matter how excellent the Yao heir is, I won’t trade my daughter’s happiness if she doesn’t like him."

"Understood!"

The nanny bowed and carefully exited.

After she left, the Empress took out the pearl, shaking her head with a smile, "This cheeky boy does know how to cater to . At my age, I should indeed take care to maintain my skin."
