833: Chapter 0833: The Divine Egg Hatches 833: Chapter 0833: The Divine Egg Hatches Long Fei’s heart stirred, muttering to himself, “Could this egg be sohow related to the Fire Bull?”
But the egg was clearly excavated from a jade mine in Nanyang, while the Fire Bull was nested in a volcano in North Arica.
The two were as different as north is from south, seemingly impossible to connect!
What surprised him even more was that his Storage Ring existed as an independent space separate from this world.
Yet this egg managed to feel sothing outside that excited it, despite being separated by a spatial barrier.
“What in the world is this thing?”
Long Fei decided to take the egg out and let it face the Fire Bull directly in this world.
Elder Cang Shan’s green vine was already wrapped around the Fire Bull, looking like a green snake that was tightening increasingly around the beast.
Grasping one end of the vine in his hand, Elder Cang Shan laughed haughtily, “From now on, this divine object belongs to the Blue Mountain Sect!”
The disciples behind him shouted loudly, “The Blue Mountain Sect is mighty!”
“Master is mighty!”
“Those who offend the Blue Mountain Sect shall be killed without rcy!”
“Long Fei, the runt, just wait for my master to slay you!”
They glared at Lin Shanshan and the others, their minds still preoccupied with the grudge they had just experienced.
Now, as their master was about to conquer everyone present and claim the Fire Bull, they felt even more proud and arrogant, as if the Blue Mountain Sect was poised to dominate the Cultivation World henceforth.
Elder Cang Shan tried with all his might to drag the Fire Bull away, well aware that its power stemd from the force of the earth’s veins and volcanic magma.
Once it was removed from the magma, it would beco an easy kill.
Elder Cang Shan’s vine tensed and made creaking noises in the air as he pulled.
However, the Fire Bull remained immovable, glaring at him and bellowing twice.
Its skin suddenly turned to a glass-like texture, and a burst of firelight could be clearly seen sparking from within, exploding the green vine into fragnts with a bang.
The crowd was shocked, and they expressed their amazent, “This Fire Bull has such an imposing presence!”
“Is there no one who can subdue it?”
The Three Kings of the Demon Clan frowned and one of them demanded, “Why hasn’t the Mystic Turtle Venerable from our Demon Clan arrived yet?”
“The Mystic Turtle Venerable always takes his ti with things, could he have gotten the date wrong?”
“Keep it down, don’t let the Human Race overhear and mock us.”
Long Fei overheard the conversation, and several won covered their mouths, giggling nonstop.
Lin Yingying yelled to Long Fei, “Aren’t we going to make a move?”
Her mind lingered on the red fruit on the bull’s head, and she always had an affinity for eating apples.
This thing looked almost like an apple, and if she could taste it, it was sure to be absolutely delicious.
“I’ll pick one of those fruits for you and see how it tastes.”
Long Fei smiled, and with a change in his stature, he seemingly took only one step in mid-air but suddenly appeared on top of the Fire Bull’s head.
The Fire Bull was taken aback and quickly raised its head to spew fire.
Long Fei, however, dodged in an elusive manner, grabbed a fruit, and pulled hard.
The fruit had enormous strength attached to it, shaking the Fire Elental Tree as he tugged, yet the fruit refused to co off.
The Fire Bull bellowed and spat out flas in all directions.
Long Fei returned helplessly to Lin Yingying and shrugged his shoulders, saying, “This thing isn’t easy to pick.”
“We saw that.”
Lin Yingying and the other won looked surprised and wondered if the fruit was indeed one with the Fire Bull.
Chu Feng frowned and said, “Could it be that this Fire Bull is really a transformation of the Divine Tree?
Could the fruit be connected to the veins in its body?”
“Possibly!”
Long Fei nodded, marveling at the wonder of the creator.
Daoist Huoyuan called out, “No wonder this fruit can only be picked when it is ripe; turns out it is one with the Fire Bull!”
The other Daoists nodded in agreent, pondering the revelation.
Unexpectedly, the Fire Elental Tree wasn’t a tree but a bull.
Its roots were in fact the body of the bull.
The master fighters surrounded this entity as if peering at flowers through a fog.
The mystical artifact was right before their eyes, yet they couldn’t lay hands on it.
Long Fei glanced at the white-shelled egg in his hand; as he had approached the Fire Bull, sothing inside the egg had clearly let out two whimpers.
That had provoked the Fire Bull into a state of frenzy, spouting fire all around.
Otherwise, with his mastery of Spatial Law, the Fire Bull would never have noticed him at all.
The sound resembled that of a baby crying for milk.
“Ti to take a gamble!”
Long Fei cut his finger, let a drop of blood fall on the eggshell, and, like a rugby player, he hurled the white-shelled egg towards the Fire Bull.
The crowd thought he had thrown so Magical Treasure and widened their eyes in anticipation.
Because the egg flew so fast, the Fire Bull didn’t even have ti to breathe fire before it was right before it.
It hurriedly opened its mouth and swallowed the egg whole.
The high-level fighters waited for a mont, and seeing no reaction, they began to mock and laugh uproariously, “So this is all the might Sect Leader Long has!”
“I thought it was so Magical Treasure, but it ended up being eaten by the beast.”
“Whatever Magical Treasure this eccentric Sect Leader has, my master will surely kill him later.”
The group buzzed with conversation, and the other master fighters exchanged glances, each contemplating their strategy.
Elder Cang Shan shouted at Daoist Huoyuan, “Brother Huoyuan, join forces with to subdue this Fire Bull.
Afterwards, the Fire Spirit Fruit is yours, and I will only take the Fire Bull.”
Daoist Huoyuan rolled his eyes, thinking how wishful Elder Cang Shan’s thinking was.
There were only nine Fire Spirit Fruits, but the real divine item here was the Fire Bull.
To cooperate with him would be like asking a tiger for its skin.
Daoist Huoyuan stood still and politely declined with a cupped fist salute, “Brother Cang Shan, I don’t want this creature.
Should you wish to take it, please do; I certainly will not say otherwise.”
“Taking kindness for granted!”
Elder Cang Shan scoffed and drew a green longsword, shouting at the Fire Bull, “Divine creature, I did not wish to harm you.
If you submit, I shall spare your life today.”
The Fire Bull mooed loudly, splashing about in the volcanic magma, appearing extrely agitated.
Everyone was unsure what had happened, thinking that the Fire Bull was challenging Elder Cang Shan.
Elder Cang Shan cursed, “Ignorant thing, you really think I can’t handle you?”
He flicked his longsword, thrusting it swiftly towards the Fire Bull.
A stream of green light, over ten ters long, quivered through the surrounding space, causing tremors.
Yu Fangming exclaid, “The old man’s getting serious, he even brought the Sky-Supporting Sword, the treasure that guards the mountain.”
In the past, Elder Cang Shan wielded this sword to dominate the North Arican Cultivation World, and singlehandedly founded the Blue Mountain Sect.
This sword was the result of Elder Cang Shan’s serendipitous fortune, a relic left behind by an Ancient Cultivator.
The light from the sword was green, like the Blue Mountains, its strength like upholding the heavens.
Thus, it was nad the Sky-Supporting Sword.
Under the sword’s imnse pressure, the Fire Bull did not breathe fire, looking utterly preoccupied.
Just as the Sword Qi was about to strike the Fire Bull, a flash of Mysterious Light clashed with the green light, resulting in a loud collision.
Elder Cang Shan’s palm shook, and the Sky-Supporting Sword vibrated fiercely, causing him to sidestep and stand firmly on the Void.
Long Fei stood in front of the Fire Bull, holding a Black Iron Staff, and gazed mockingly at Elder Cang Shan.
Elder Cang Shan furiously cursed, “Youngster, are you truly seeking death?”
Long Fei replied indifferently, “You said you wanted to kill , so kill now.
There’s no need to wait.”
“How dare you sabotage my efforts!”
The veins on Elder Cang Shan’s forehead throbbed.
Everyone knew that to fight now would result in mutual destruction, to the advantage of the others present.
But with matters having progressed to this point, Elder Cang Shan could temporarily disregard the Fire Bull and had to focus all his power on killing Long Fei first, before attempting to take the Fire Bull.
