The attacker was, of course, the God of Killing.
As the God of Killing pressed forward, the mont the silver threads were about to entangle Nogawa, Nogawa once again mysteriously split into eight silhouettes, surrounding the God of Killing from all sides.
The eight silhouettes attacked the God of Killing simultaneously, causing him to break out in a cold sweat and his hair to stand on end.

The base of Shi Buddha’s hand went numb, and blood actually dripped out, but fortunately, he didn’t lose grip on his weapon.

Suddenly, dense hidden weapons like a sudden downpour flew from Nogawa.

With a loud noise, Nogawa drew a black katana, and instantly, a destructive aura enveloped the area.

Feeling this imnse aura, both Shi Buddha and the God of Killing visibly paled.
Simultaneously, intense footsteps sounded from nearby as reinforcents arrived.
“Shi Buddha, fall back!” God of Killing urgently shouted.
At the sa ti, God of Killing’s figure, ghostly and eerie, positioned itself in front of Shi Buddha, his weapon firing once again.

At the crucial mont, God of Killing attacked, striking Nogawa again.
God of Killing’s speed was simply too fast.
Even though Nogawa knew God of Killing would strike when he rged, he was still unable to escape.
Although God of Killing’s strike was not critical, it delayed Nogawa’s attack.
That was exactly the effect God of Killing wanted.
He had no intention of killing Nogawa, just wanting to escape with Shi Buddha.

This place indeed gathered many experts, but God of Killing’s speed was so swift he forcefully carved a bloody path out.
“God of Killing, Shi Buddha, how are you?”
Just as they broke through the encirclent, Phoenix’s voice sounded through the earphone.
God of Killing glanced at the unconscious Shi Buddha on his back and spoke gravely, “Phoenix, I’m fine, but Shi Buddha is seriously injured.”
“Get here imdiately; after we rendezvous with the Divine King, we’ll leave right away,” Phoenix said.
