That day was a weekend, and due to the lack of classes, Shi Yao stayed up late the night before to browse through Legend’s forum.
After waking up the next day, the first thing she did after washing up was to rush over to Lin Jiage’s room to ask him what he wanted for lunch.
As the two of them had lived under the same roof for a very long time, Shi Yao’s unfamiliarity with Lin Jiage had already dissipated without her realizing it. Thus, she didn’t even knock on the door, as though she was walking through her own bedroom with ease, she pushed the door open and dashed into the room, “Lin Jiage, Lin Jiage, let’s meet at noon…”
Before Shi Yao could finish her words, she saw Lin jiage leaning against the headboard of the bed with a laptop in his hands. There was something wrong with his expression.
She instinctively shut her mouth, and even her footsteps slowed down,”… What’s Wrong?”

Hearing those words, Lin Jiage first raised his head to look at Shi Yao. Following which, the gloomy expression on his face softened significantly, but his tone still sounded a little stiff, “It’s nothing…”
His face was as dark as an eggplant cooked in a wok. If he told her that it was nothing, who would believe him

With this thought in mind, Shi Yao replied with an ‘Oh’before continuing on her way to Lin Jiage’s side.
Without waiting for her to get close, Lin Jiage abruptly raised his hand and closed his laptop, as though he was afraid that she would see what was on his laptop.
After Lin Jiage was done with his actions, he realized that he had overreacted, so he hurriedly asked, “What do you want to eat for lunch?”
As he spoke, he took out his phone and prepared to place an order.
Shi Yao stared at Lin Jiage’s puter for a moment before reciting the names of the dishes she wanted to eat.
As she spoke, Lin Jiage’s fingers swiftly tapped on his phone screen. By the time Shi Yao finished reciting the names of the dishes, Lin Jiage had already placed his order.
“I’ll squeeze some toothpaste for you…”Shi Yao took another glance at Lin Jiage’s puter and said,”… Hurry up and e over here and Brush Your Teeth.”
Lin jiage replied with an “Un”before pulling the covers off the bed and following behind Shi Yao into the bathroom.
After washing up, Lin Jiage turned on his laptop once more.
Shi Yao knew that he didn’t want her to see the content on his laptop. Even though she was curious, she still obediently left Lin Jiage’s bedroom.
Half an hour later, lunch arrived.
Shi Yao took the takeout and went to call Lin Jiage for lunch. When she saw him typing on the keyboard with one hand and staring at his laptop with a grave expression, it was as if he was trying to kill someone through his laptop.
Did He… have some sort of disagreement at work? was he arguing with someone?
Shi Yao was perplexed for a moment, but when she saw Lin Jiage’s gaze upon her, she hurriedly said, “Lunch is here. e and have your meal.”
“UN, Alright,”Lin Jiage replied with his usual calm voice. However, as soon as he said those words, a cold glint flashed across his eyes as he stared at the puter screen once more.
However, he didn’t continue typing as if he was typing on a keyboard. Instead, he closed his puter and walked over to Shi Yao.
While they were eating.., for some reason, Lin Jiage said to Shi Yao, “I can feel that my hand is almost healed. Didn’t you say that you wanted to visit Chengdu a while back? “The current season is just right for me to visit Chengdu. I’m going to Chengdu next week to meet with a business partner. Do you want to go? I’ll take you with me…”
