After entering the office, Lin Jiage closed the door behind him and took out the remote control. After closing the curtains in the entire office, he turned to Shi Yao and asked, “Yaoyao, what’s going on? Tell me…”
“I, I…”Shi Yao rolled her eyes and stammered for a moment before saying,”… I want some water!”
Lin Jiage wasn’t a fool, so he could tell that Shi Yao was lying through her teeth. However, he didn’t expose her. Instead, he walked over to the water bar and poured her a glass of warm water, he handed it over to her and said, “e, let’s talk while we drink…”
“I, I, I want to finish drinking first!”
Lin jiage nodded, as if he would do anything as long as she was happy.

Shi Yao drank her water very slowly, taking small sips at a time.
Lin Jiage wasn’t in a hurry either, so he patiently waited for her to finish it.
However, there would e a time when the water would run out. Seeing that the glass was almost empty, no matter how unwilling Shi Yao was, she could only put down the empty glass. Then, she glanced at Lin Jiage for a moment, and before he could say anything.., she suddenly shouted, “I… I… I need to go to the toilet!”
Lin jiage pointed to the bathroom, and he acted as if he was asking her to help herself.
Shi Yao stood up and swiftly ran into the bathroom. After closing the door, she patted her chest and took in deep breaths.
H-how am I supposed to tell him… it’s all my fault. I was so focused on peting with him that afternoon that I forgot what I was supposed to do..
Shi Yao paced around the bathroom. The more nervous she became, the more unable her mind became to think.
As time slowly ticked by, Lin Jiage, who was standing outside the washroom, noticed that Shi Yao wasn’t ing out, so he ran over and knocked on the door. “Yaoyao? Are you done?”
“Yaoyao, are you alright?”
“Yaoyao, if you don’t e out now, I’m going to kick down the door…”
Knowing that she wouldn’t be able to escape, Shi Yao braced herself and replied, “I’m done.”
After which, she walked up to the sink and took a deep breath at her reflection in the mirror. It doesn’t matter anymore. Since she’s already in such a state, she’ll just have to improvise and do whatever she wants… I really can’t stop her.., at worst, I’ll just beat him up!
With this thought in mind, Shi Yao took a look around the bathroom before her gaze fell on the soap box.
It’s made of metal, and it’s heavy enough… Shi Yao weighed it for two seconds before taking out the soap and tossing it aside. She placed the soap box under the tap and rinsed it clean before putting it into her bag, after which, she turned around and walked over to the entrance of the washroom.
With her eyes closed, she took a deep breath, and like a brave warrior who would never return, she opened the door and walked out.
“Yaoyao, you’re finally out. I thought you were inside…”
Before Lin Jiage could finish his words, Shi Yao interrupted him, “I’ve thought of it. I came here to intercept you!”
Steal My Money? Steal My Money? Did she think that I was playing mahjong?
For a moment, Lin Jiage didn’t understand what Shi Yao meant, so he replied with a confused “En?”.
En? En what en? Didn’t she make her intentions clear enough?
In order to boost her aura, Shi Yao puffed out her chest and continued, “I’ve already said what I wanted to say. Now that I’m hungry, can you acpany me to Dinner?”
