"Wanqing?" Ling Chen’s face changed slightly, he hurriedly turned the person’s body over. Upon closer inspection, he saw a man lying on the ground, already dead, with a long needle embedded in his forehead.

Ling Chen’s pupils contracted slightly; he quickly stood up, his sharp eyes scanning the surroundings. The villa only housed him and Nanrong Wanqing; Zhong Wei and Liang Zhao Hui were residing within the city, and Ling Chen was responsible for picking them up for work daily. As he thought, the sound of an engine suddenly roared from the back of the villa. Ling Chen hurried over, only to see a business vehicle’s lights illuminating, preparing to leave. "Stop!" Ling Chen shouted, his feet moved swiftly as he rushed over. At that mont, an ear-piercing car horn blared, sounding endlessly.
Taking advantage, Ling Chen quickly reached the driver’s seat, only to find the driver’s body slumped over the steering wheel, already dead.
Without ti to think, Ling Chen quickly opened the door and crawled into the rear compartnt of the business vehicle. As expected, Nanrong Wanqing was lying inside, presumably drugged and completely unconscious.
Two groups? Ling Chen squinted, instantly understanding. The driver and the previously killed man were together, their target was likely Nanrong Wanqing. However, besides these two, there was another — the seriously injured Qi Yong and the person using the ridian Soul Stealing Needle. Two groups ca simultaneously, leading to a conflict.
This was interesting, Ling Chen silently chuckled. Fortunately, that person killed these two; otherwise, Nanrong Wanqing might have been taken away by them.
Hiding in the rear compartnt, Ling Chen carefully raised his head, looking out the window. This person could kill the driver, indicating his position was near the business vehicle. But outside, it was pitch black; it was impossible to tell where the person was hiding.
