Just as Jian Dan felt groggy and was about to fall asleep again, the phone rang at an inopportune moment.

In the warmth of Chu Liyuan’s embrace, Jian Dan once again fell into a sweet sleep, and by the time they woke up again, it was already 8:30 AM.
Not wanting to run into Molly, Chu Liyuan went to the office without even having breakfast. He was really not used to having another woman, who was a stranger to him, in the house. But since Jian Jian had already agreed to let her stay for a few days, he couldn’t kick her out and decided that out of sight was out of mind.
It was a long while after Jian Dan had finished breakfast that she saw a sleepy Molly ing downstairs in her pajamas, “I clearly remember falling asleep at your place, but somehow, when I woke up in the morning, I was in my own bed!”
“You remembered wrong. After our chat last night, you went back to your own room to sleep. You forgot!” Jian Dan said, a bit guiltily.
“Ah? Really? But I don’t remember any of it at all?” Molly scratched her head and said.
“We talked for so long last night, and we were both so tired that our memories wouldn’t be that clear!”
“Ah? Could it be because I’m getting old and my memory is failing?”
Jian Dan felt as if a lemon had been stuffed into her mouth.
“You’re old? Then I must be about to hit the grave?” Jian Dan realized for the first time that she wasn’t young anymore.
“Not to that extent!”
Jian Dan’s brow furrowed slightly, “Why doesn’t that sound so nice?”
“Being too serious isn’t good for you!”
“Alright! Since you said so, I’ll just automatically delete the news about Meng Ran.”
“Mmm~” Molly quickly came over and pulled Jian Dan, who was about to stand up, back onto the couch, “I suddenly think it’s not so bad to be a little detailed!”

“Really? What benefits?” Jian Dan sat back down on the couch, crossed her legs, and looked at Molly with a teasing expression that was just asking for trouble.

“Oh! Then forget it, I have things to do, so I’m going to leave!”
“Not going too far, not at all, my words just slipped earlier!” Molly quickly backtracked.
“Ouch, my shoulder hurts a bit. Must be from when I accidentally hit it while go-karting yesterday!” Jian Dan seized the opportunity to thoroughly ruffle Molly’s feathers, or else she’d be in trouble later.
Molly pursed her lips, clearly angry, yet had no choice but to pretend to be cheerful and attend to Jian Dan, “So careless, huh? Let me rub it for you!”

One was purposefully misbehaving and the other was swallowing her pride. Just imagine the scene—it was definitely a sight to behold!
