Recently, Jian Dan had been busy with Siyu’s wedding preparations, ing home late and feeling especially exhausted, often falling asleep instantly after taking a shower and getting into bed.
This was tough on Chu Liyuan. This morning, Jian Jian mentioned she would be taking the day off to go to the hospital, and Chu Liyuan initially planned to acpany her. However, an unexpected call from Li Jing forced him to head to the office first.
With the intention of ing home early, Chu Liyuan worked extra hard to finish his tasks ahead of time. Before heading home, he even stopped by a flower shop near the office to buy flowers, hoping to create some romantic ambiance.

After reading the note, Chu Liyuan could only helplessly facepalm.
Why did it have to be him to bear the brunt when Granny was mad at Grandpa? What had he done to anyone?
Chu Liyuan casually tossed the flowers onto the coffee table and collapsed onto the sofa, covering his handsome face with both hands.
