After a few days in Dalian, we took a direct flight to Japan because Kuaikuai wanted to do some exploring.
We’ve been to many countries and cities with Uncle, but we’ve never been to Japan.
"This place doesn’t seem much different from China?" Jian Dan’s first impression after getting off the plane was, "I wonder if there are any fun places here!"
"Our main purpose here is to explore, and as for fun~ it seems that other than Disney, there aren’t many places to visit here that can pare to the historical sites in China," said Kuaikuai coldly.
"You talk as if you’ve been here before~" Jian Xiaokai retorted with a curl of his lip, "But indeed, as Kuaikuai said, there really isn’t much worth visiting in Japan, but, I still managed to pick out a few big ones." Jian Xiaokai showed off the travel plan he had made on the plane.
"I’m directionally challenged, don’t ask me to plan the route, I’ll just follow you guys around, but can we go grab some food first? I didn’t eat anything on the plane because I felt a bit airsick, and now I’m really hungry!" Jian Dan said, holding his stomach.
"What are we waiting for then, let’s go! I just researched a highly-rated restaurant nearby!"
"Then let’s stop dawdling and go!" Jian Dan grabbed the hands of the two kids next to him and stepped out...
Chu Liyuan watched Jian Jian ignoring his hand, felt a bit sad, and stood still, not moving, "Uncle, what are you doing? Hurry up!"
"Is it frustrating not being able to hold Mom’s hand? Ah~ Seeing how pitiful you are, I’ll let you hold mine reluctantly!" Jian Xiaokai walked up to Chu Liyuan, offering his hand arrogantly.
Chu Liyuan hadn’t made a move when Kuaikuai also came to his side and extended his hand as well, but didn’t speak.
"Kuaikuai, what is this..." Jian Xiaokai asked, looking at Kuaikuai.
"I was going to say what you just said, so naturally, I don’t need to repeat it!"
Chu Liyuan wasn’t planning on joining in the siblings’ "war," but then he heard Jian Jian’s voice again, "Uncle, hurry up!" and he ended up taking one hand each.
"Choosing this time to bicker, if Mom gets too hungry it’ll be your fault!"
Jian Xiaokai’s mentioned restaurant wasn’t far from the airport, and it only took about half an hour to get there.
"Sashimi?"
"Of course you have to eat sashimi in Japan!"
After walking in, we saw that the interior was decorated in a very traditional Japanese style, with walls painted with Japanese murals, giving a very fortable vibe.
"Jian Xiaokai, I have to say, you did a great job with the research? This place is quite nice, I’d give it 49 points."
"Only 49 points when it’s quite nice?" Jian Xiaokai looked at Jian Dan somewhat disappointedly.
"I haven’t even tried their dishes yet? Just for the décor style, 49 points is already pretty high! Whether it can score higher depends on how tasty their dishes are," Jian Dan explained.
Eventually, after the meal, Jian Dan’s rating for the place was quite high, giving it a score of 98.
But no one expected that this meal would cause a big disaster...
Just after bathing and lying down in bed, Jian Dan’s stomach began to hurt, he had already felt something off on the way back, thinking it was just from eating too much and that bearing it would make it better, but instead of easing off, the pain worsened.
At this moment, he was clutching his abdomen, rolling in pain on the bed, his head sweating from the agony, enduring the pain with all his might to keep from crying out...
