The four little ones carefully made their way into the villa. Due to a massive explosion, if the walls hadn’t been strong enough, most of the villa’s original appearance wouldn’t have been preserved, and it would probably have turned into a deep pit instead.
After walking for a while, they saw a door ajar, with a soft white light shining through.

"What are you doing here?" Jian Dan asked, surprised to see the unexpected arrival of the four little ones.
She came here because it was secluded enough that even Uncle Chu didn’t know about it.
"Mommy~ We finally found you!" Xiaoxin and Qian Lele immediately threw themselves into Jian Dan’s arms, crying.
Jian Dan hugged a precious child with each arm, her eyes filled with remorse, "I’m sorry~"
"You think a simple sorry is enough? You’re not young anymore, how can you still be so inconsiderate? Don’t you realize how worried we would be about your reckless departure?" Jian Xiaokai’s tone was reproachful, but his face and eyes were full of concern. "Why can’t you ever be less troublesome?" His words sounded as if Jian Dan were the child and Jian Xiaokai the parent.
"I...I had my reasons, and I didn’t run away, did I? I left a note, didn’t I? Didn’t dad tell you?"
"A note? You think leaving a note makes it okay? That’s irresponsible. Plus, there’s something in the world called a cell phone, it’s not meant to be turned off!" Jian Xiaokai continued in an adult-like manner, schooling Jian Dan.
"Isn’t it because I need a quiet environment for work?" Jian Dan didn’t want her children to worry, so she wasn’t prepared to tell them.
"A quiet environment? Can you e up with a worse excuse than that? Li Garden is so big, you can find peace anywhere, why did you have to leave?" Qian Lele crossed her arms and spoke up.
"This..." Can’t you be less clever occasionally? "Of course, Li Garden is big enough, but as long as dad is there, mom can’t possibly work in peace."
"Can you stop with the excuses? Your so-called reasons could fool other kids, but they’re nonsense to us. Do you want to explain yourself, or shall we do it for you?" Kuaikuai had no patience for more nonsense and spoke up coldly.
"You~you~~you all couldn’t possibly have...have...found out already, could you?"
"What else? Would we be this anxious if we didn’t know?" Kuaikuai continued coolly.
Even the usually detached and calm Kuaikuai was flustered over what Jian Dan had done this time.
Jian Dan suddenly felt as if she had been stripped of her clothes because of Kuaikuai’s words, her painstakingly crafted excuses now seeming like a joke.
"I didn’t want you to worry about me!" Jian Dan said softly, her head lowered.
"Not worry? Your actions only make us more worried." Jian Xiaokai spoke again.
"I’m sorry~ It’s all my fault for making you worry."
"You finally realize that?" Kuaikuai struggled to hide her concern from others.
"Since you already know, then you should understand what this illness signifies. I definitely don’t want to infect you." Jian Dan’s expression was extremely sorrowful.
"Can you please use some mon sense? It only spreads in three ways. It won’t infect others just by living or eating together." Kuaikuai rolled her eyes at Jian Dan as she spoke.
"But..."
"No buts. Chu Liyuan has been nearly driven mad looking for you, mobilizing all forces he could. If you don’t show up soon, he might tear down the whole city."
"What?"
Jian Dan had never expected her actions to have such serious consequences.
