"Jian, are you sure?" Xiao Ting walked up to Jian Dan and whispered.
"Yes!"
"Put this on, so whatever you see, we can see too." Jian Xiaokai handed an invisible contact lens case to Xingxing.
"I’m going!" Without hesitation, Xingxing took the lens, put it on, and turned to walk toward the abandoned building.
The moment Xingxing approached the building, countless small red dots appeared on her body. She slowly raised her hands and shouted loudly at the structure, "I am Xingxing, Ouyang Jing’s woman. Everything you’re looking for is with me. If you want to retrieve those things, let me in!"

"You don’t seriously think I’d be dumb enough to bring the items with me, do you? That way, neither of us would make it out of here alive."
"You’re playing games with me?" The man’s anger flared instantly.
"I’m not playing games. If you let Jing and me leave here safely, I will naturally hand over the items to you. But if something happens to us here, the documents will be sent to the police tomorrow."
"You dare threaten me?"
"This isn’t a threat; it’s merely insurance for us. After all, your word is hardly trustworthy."
To Ouyang Jing, Xingxing had always been a gentle, charming, meek, and timid woman. But now, this resilient, brave, and posed Xingxing before him was nothing like the one he used to know.
"Do you even know who you’re talking to?"

As the man contemplated her words, the noise from outside grew louder. "What’s happening?" he asked.
"Boss, it’s bad—we’re surrounded!"
"Surrounded? What do you mean? How could they have gotten close?"
"Boss, it’s fighter jets. There are five fighter jets circling overhead.
Given our current location, even one jet would be enough to pletely obliterate this place, let alone five."
"You planned this, didn’t you?" The man raised his gun and pointed it at Xingxing.
"Of course I did. Do you know why you’ve lost? Because the difference between us is that you’re afraid to die—but I’m not!" Xingxing said coldly.
"I’ll shoot you dead with one pull of the trigger!"
The man’s finger slowly tightened around the trigger. A single gunshot echoed through the entire building...
