Jian Dan dragged her tired body to New E Media early in the morning.
"Jian, what happened to you? Did you play so wildly yesterday? You’re exhausted to this extent?" Qin Rou looked at Jian Dan, who collapsed onto the table as soon as she entered the meeting room.
"You’re the one to talk! It’s all because of you!" Jian Dan’s head remained on the table, pouting, glaring angrily at Qin Rou.
"Me? What did I do?" Qin Rou clearly avoided Jian Dan’s gaze, playing dumb.
"Still pretending?"
"Hehe! Jian, weren’t I doing it for you and my uncle? It’s best not to delve into those minor details!"
"Haha!" Jian Dan pursed her lips and squinted at Qin Rou.
"Wait a minute, you’re this exhausted not because of Yorickson but because of my uncle?" Qin Rou suddenly thought of something and spoke up.
Jian Dan immediately sat up straight, "I didn’t say anything just now!"
"Alright, alright, it’s too late to take it back now." Qin Rou waved her hand, looking as if she had already figured it out.
"Hasn’t Yorickson arrived yet?" In desperation, Jian Dan could only change the topic.
"I just spoke with Yorickson’s assistant on the phone; they’re on their way, but there’s some traffic, they might be a bit late."
"Oh! Since he’ll take a while to get here, why don’t we go grab something to eat first? I rushed over here early and didn’t even have time for breakfast!"
"We should have enough time."
As the two were about to leave, they bumped into Mu Yi, "Are you two going out?"
"Mu Yi, what’s this..." Jian Dan pointed at the breakfast Mu Yi was carrying.
"I was worried you didn’t have breakfast, so I just went downstairs to grab some."
"You really are a good friend, understanding exactly what I need. We were just about to go out to eat, now we don’t even have to leave the building." Jian Dan, already too tired to move, was relieved.
"Oh! Then e quickly and eat! It won’t taste good if it gets cold." Mu Yi placed the breakfast on the table and kindly unpacked everything.
"Mu Yi, did you buy too much? How can the two of us finish all this?" Jian Dan looked in disbelief at the breakfast spread on the table.
She can eat, but she’s not a black hole!
"Stay and eat with us!" Jian Dan said to Mu Yi.
"But I’ve already had breakfast."
"Doesn’t matter, sit!" Jian Dan pointed to a chair and manded.
Mu Yi’s face was full of refusal, but a barely noticeable smile tugged at the corner of his mouth.
Seeing Mu Yi still standing there unmoving, Jian Dan simply walked behind him and pushed him onto the nearest chair.
"Jian, but I really am full." Mu Yi looked up at Jian Dan, his eyes shimmering slightly.
"No excuses, since you bought so much, can you bear to watch the two of us girls eat all this? Hurry up." Saying so, Jian Dan handed a small steamed bun to Mu Yi.
"But..." Just as Mu Yi tried to speak again, Jian Dan swiftly stuffed the bun into his mouth.
"Don’t spit it out!"
Mu Yi could only swallow the steamed bun, "Jian, did you wash your hands?" Mu Yi frowned and looked at Jian Dan.

"Well, at worst, if you get sick, I’ll take care of you!"
