After that day, I never saw Dr. Liu and his father in the hospital again; their names even disappeared from the medical munity.
The next day was the day Sizhe was going to perform surgery on Little Lu’s mom. Jian Dan suddenly sat up first thing in the morning; it was already past 7 o’clock, and the surgery was supposed to start at 8:30!

The surgery went on for over five hours without ending; those five hours were like five centuries to Cheng Lu.

"Little Lu, don’t rush, this heart surgery tends to take a long time!" Jian Dan began to fort her.
Just as Jian Dan finished speaking, the light indicating surgery in progress went out.
The door to the operating room slowly opened, and Cheng Lu rushed up like an arrow.
Sizhe walked out, slowly removing his mask. The serious expression on his face instantly turned into a big smile, "The surgery was very successful, don’t worry! Your mom will be sent back to the ward shortly."

"You are treating, Uncle is just the one paying." Jian Dan said with a laugh.
"Jian, I..." Cheng Lu was truly at a loss for what to say at that moment.
"Don’t say anything, you’re my friend. If I ever need help in the future, do you think you can escape?"
Cheng Lu looked at Jian Dan, and her eyes reddened again...
