Only ten minutes remained until the movie started. The main cast appearing at this mont clearly left little ti for interviews.

The movie was here, and everything revolved around it. All the pre-release hype ant nothing; whether the movie was good or not was the only truth.

For films like this, it was typical for the main cast and director to appear separately for photos.

Unexpectedly, leading the charge was the director. Wang Ju stepped out first, dressed in a suit, wearing his signature sunhat, and smiling brightly.

Then ca Bo Yan in the center, flanked on his left and right by Shang Feifei and Xia Siyu—the three of them appearing together.

All three were ticulously dressed, but since this wasn’t a film festival red carpet, there was no need for overly formal attire. Though extravagant gowns weren’t required, Xia Siyu wore a spring release from a luxury brand she endorsed, while Bo Yan and Shang Feifei also wore outfits from the brands they represented.

In terms of styling, Xia Siyu’s and Shang Feifei’s makeup artists and stylists had coordinated beforehand. Both dressed in line with their characters’ personas in the film—one seductive, the other dignified.

Reflecting this through their outfits, Xia Siyu wore a bold, low-cut dress with a deep V neckline that was eye-catching and vibrant. Her lipstick was strikingly vivid. Shang Feifei, on the other hand, wore a small white cocktail dress. However, as she turned to sign her na, it was undeniable—the back of her dress plunged nearly to her hips.

Their positioning mirrored their dynamics as well. Though both were alongside Bo Yan, appearing like his guardians, Shang Feifei clung to Bo Yan’s arm. It was clear her role and Bo Yan’s were the true leads in the film. Previously, Xia Siyu’s fans and Shang Feifei’s fans had clashed once over billing order. Although it eventually seed to blow over, the tension surely lingered. Standing aside independently, Xia Siyu signed her na, tilted her head, lifted her chin slightly, and wore a haughty expression that scread, "I couldn’t care less."

The tension between these two actresses was palpable before they even spoke a word.

Oh, and let’s not forget the one male actor caught up in this—you know, the notorious feud between Xia Siyu and Bo Yan as well.

Typically, when there’s such infighting among cast mbers during production, the resulting movie often turns out subpar. After all, with no chemistry and constant bickering on set, how could a good film possibly erge?

That being said, judging from the previously released teasers, the sparks between these two on screen seed real. Even if their personal relationship was rocky, having a heavyweight director like Wang Ju in charge ant the final product might actually—not definitely, but possibly—turn out decent.

During the interviews, none of the three leads spoke. They left everything to Wang Ju. He simply smiled and said, "Anything I say would be aningless. So, let’s all watch the film together."

Still, the reporters were unwilling to give up and attempted to press the three leads for answers. When the mic was offered to him, Bo Yan smiled and said, "Everyone, there are only three minutes left until the movie starts. If, after watching, you think the film is good and still have questions, I promise we’ll answer them all. To be honest, I haven’t seen the final cut myself—feeling a bit nervous. If my performance isn’t great, I hope you’ll be forgiving."

Indeed, at premieres like this, there would always be a post-screening Q&A session for reporters. Whether the performances were good or bad, as long as the feedback wasn’t insincere praise, people generally enjoyed sharing their opinions during this later segnt.

At the end of the day, the movie itself mattered most. If it was good, it would be the cherry on top; if it was bad, it would get torn apart without rcy.

Next up, the official screening of the film began—
