Although there were always so chaotic things happening during the New Year period, Xia Siyu still had a great ti overall. She and Bo Yan were either watching movies or reading books. She initially thought she was at a stage of extre laziness during her leisure ti, but in the end, she discovered that when she was with Bo Yan, besides their nightti clashes, they were always reading and learning.
The most surprising thing was that whether it was studying dull theoretical knowledge or learning acting skills fra by fra from movies, she actually found it quite enjoyable. It wasn’t for Bo Yan; she herself found it interesting, as if she was a sponge absorbing endless knowledge.
Though she was only learning these fundantal things after seven years in the industry, which seed a bit late, it was also because she was now mature with so practical experience, making her learn particularly fast. She wasn’t too rigid, instead integrating everything into her own acting, feeling like she had new accomplishnts every day.
The New Year’s ti quickly passed, thanks to the pandemic and the nation’s strict control over the entertainnt industry, there were fewer openings for film crews compared to before. Xia Siyu and Bo Yan originally scheduled to have firearms training on the eighth and ninth, but those days happened to be occupied by the provincial team’s group training. With no choice, they first went to learn about heavy motorcycles.
Bo Yan took her to the sa venue where he competed with Bo Yi last ti. This club was exclusively for the wealthy and prestigious, operating on a mbership basis. Without an invitation from a veteran mber, outsiders couldn’t enter. Such a location almost completely eliminated the possibility of outsiders or paparazzi getting close, and at most, they might see high-level executives from the entertainnt industry.
But to avoid suspicion, the two of them still acted separately. Bo Yan drove her to the club, introduced her to open an account, and according to the original plan, Xia Siyu was supposed to follow the coach he previously booked to learn biking. However, Xia Siyu clung to Bo Yan, refusing to let go.
Bo Yan, helplessly said, "Go learn to ride."
Xia Siyu stubbornly replied, "Nope! I want to play with you."
Bo Yan turned back and poked her on the head, "How old are you, three maybe? I’m not a coach, I can’t teach you. Be good, go practice."
Xia Siyu hugged him and said, "Then take for a couple of laps, if I think it’s too hard, I won’t learn it. Plus, we have to wear helts on the motorcycles, who would recognize ?"
Actually, Bo Yan didn’t require her to master the heavy motorcycles nor did she need to take a license test. It was great if she wanted to learn and take the test, but if not, she wouldn’t be forced. The idea of riding along with Xia Siyu was quite appealing, and he nodded, "I can take you, but you also need to wear proper protection."
After all, it’s racing and motorcycles are sowhat dangerous. Xia Siyu cheered excitedly, "Sure thing!"
The two prepared to change their clothes, Bo Yan, as the rider, needed to wear the racing protective gear, while Xia Siyu only had to wear a helt.
Xia Siyu had never ridden a motorcycle before and never felt the sensation of speeding like the wind. As they rounded the curves, the motorcycle slightly leaned to one side, and Xia Siyu felt her body also pressing close to the ground, as if the wind was roaring and pulling at her ears. The powerful centrifugal force and speed were indeed quite thrilling. It was a pity that Bo Yan wore a racing suit, making it less comfortable to hold onto him.
After a couple of laps getting a feel for it, Xia Siyu finally wanted to learn how to ride, but...
