In recent years, many movie stars have transitioned to TV, primarily because of the booming TV drama market. After all, no one says no to real money.
However, when movie stars make such transitions, they have significant bargaining power and tend to favor so-called “big productions,” which focus more on wages rather than the script and production quality. Moreover, due to the large investnt, there’s less room for innovation in thes, often going for large IPs or more conservative stories. The biggest fear is that the audience and market will typecast her.
