Qin Baizhou glanced at her, and Xia Siyu said, “You leave first.”

“Don’t worry,” Xia Siyu interrupted him again, “Thank you for helping just now, but this matter is between the two of us. I’ve signed a contract with the company; whether or not we go public, I’ll report back to the company. I won’t let the company suffer losses and will try to contain the situation.”

But regardless of whether it was public or not, it truly was the artist’s choice. If Xia Siyu was determined to keep things quiet, he couldn’t possibly use her account to post about it on Weibo himself, could he?
Qin Baizhou looked at Xia Siyu, still a bit unsure, “If he bullies you…”
Xia Siyu said, “If it’s not made public, then my situation remains unchanged and the company doesn’t really lose anything. If it does go public, he’ll have a bigger headache; how many scandals do I have each year? Hasn’t the company handled enough?”

He clenched his fists tightly, then slowly released them, “If anything cos up, let know imdiately. I’ll be just outside.”
Xia Siyu nodded, and only then did Qin Baizhou push the door open to leave. As the door closed, he still shot a warning glance at Bo Yan.
After only Bo Yan and Xia Siyu were left in the room, she finally exhaled. Turning back, she saw Bo Yan wiping the place on his face where he had been hit. Though Qin Baizhou wasn’t trained, he genuinely got angry, so the punch was quite heavy. Bo Yan could have dodged it, but he didn’t—not to play the victim or for any specific reason, just that he didn’t dodge.
Nonetheless, the punch did hurt a bit, hitting his tooth, and he could taste a salty tang in his mouth, feeling like his tooth had accidentally bitten his tongue and made it bleed.
She watched as Bo Yan took out a tissue, wiped the blood foam from his mouth onto it, crumpled it, and threw it into the trash can.
