This is awkward now.
The reporters taking photos on-site, and the audience watching the live broadcast on their phones, felt as if there was a mouthful of blood stuck in their throats — unable to spit it out, unable to swallow it down.
Just monts ago, the bullet screen was filled with mocking comnts about her, like "Dared to co even without a nomination," "The culprit single-handedly dragging down the ratings," "Here to flaunt beauty again, huh?" But since she didn’t actually show up, the comnts turned into "???", "What the hell, I ca to watch her stir things up," "Where is she? Start the fight already, is she scared or what?"
To be fair, onlookers wouldn’t mock intensely like hired trolls do, at most they would chit-chat when bored.
She’s been criticized for more than three months, but she didn’t commit murder or arson. Last ti she kicked soone, but there was a reason, and ultimately nothing significant blew up from it, instead, it even helped her maintain so heat.
This ti, it’s the rare instance where the entire "Storm" crew got nominated, but the most shining star, Xia Siyu, wasn’t nominated due to "personal reasons." No one felt injustice for her, but they did want to see her create so drama.
So, where is she?
The audience is anxious, and the reporters on the scene are surely more so.
Their KPI for this month, the topic heat, the click rate for this month, all depend on Xia Siyu, yet she didn’t show up!
The car has already driven off; Bo Yan, Shang Feifei, and Director Wang Ju got out of the car together, joined the crew mbers and the second male lead waiting, walked the red carpet, reached the signature wall, signed, took photos, and started the interview.
Xia Siyu still hasn’t arrived.

Even though Bo Yan, Shang Feifei, and Wang Ju were present before, it was nothing compared to the mont her vehicle appeared in the viewfinder; the ratings surged dramatically.
Regardless of whether others acknowledge it or not, whether she still has roles to act in, or whether she is notorious, Xia Siyu has this magic; once she appears, it’s guaranteed to be a storm.
Last ti, she appeared under an umbrella, in high heels for a fleeting glimpse outside the theater. Even if the viewers wanted to call her vicious, they couldn’t be too harsh considering her looks. Later on, with a series of actions, to be fair and square, although what she did was "a bit overboard," it was understandable. Who told the other party to sexually harass her first? The other party even sued her in court later, demanding an apology and compensation, to which she straightforwardly stood her ground: Compensation is negotiable, apology is not.
So people feared she might be marketing "female empowernt," exploiting the inherent advantage of female vulnerability to draw attention. But after that incident, she didn’t continue the marketing; she ceased while the going was good, occupying the trending topics for almost a week’s worth of resources. The opponent attacked her, she countered, attacked back, and countered again, along with Bo Yan and the drama, except for the hacker being unlucky, she gained a complete victory.
So what about this ti? Last ti trolls pit her, this ti the Golden Phoenix Awards pitted her, not even nominating her, what will she do? Moreover, Shang Feifei is obviously a hot favorite for Best Actress. If she really wins, will there be a fight on the stage?
