Even though it was evening, there weren’t many 24-hour restaurants, so while it seed empty outside this restaurant, inside it was actually buzzing with people. The waiter led them to a seat, and Xia Siyu plopped down on the sofa, too lazy to move. She stared intently at the nu and urged repeatedly, “Order, order, order.”
The waiter ca over, “What would you like to order?”
Xia Siyu said, “I want at, at! Big chunks of at! This spicy beef, this cumin lamb, these chicken wings, and pork intestines, I want them all!”
Bo Yan smiled, “It’s late at night, let’s have sothing easy to digest. How about so mushrooms and king oyster mushrooms.”
Xia Siyu turned another page and saw seafood, exclaiming, “Squid! Spicy squid is the best! Do you have crayfish tails? I want those too! And salmon! What, your place has King Crab legs, we absolutely need to get so!”
Bo Yan smiled again, “Eating too much spicy food is not good for your stomach. Let’s have so roasted shrimps or scallops to cleanse the palate.”
Xia Siyu turned another page, saw the main dishes, and exclaid again, “This Dandan noodle looks so delicious! I want a serving! And this purple potato pumpkin cake, I want it too!”
Bo Yan said, “Fried sweets are greasy, how about so vegetables? This winter lon looks good, let’s have a portion.”
Xia Siyu finally turned to the drinks page, “Skewers without alcohol are like nothing, let’s get two bottles, no, half a dozen beers!”
Bo Yan said, “Drinking before bed is not good for your health, barley tea is quite nice.”
The two were talking past each other, completely unable to agree.
The waiter was speechless, “With so much, you probably won’t finish it all.”
Xia Siyu glared at Bo Yan angrily, and Bo Yan had to smile and say, “We’ll go with her choices. Order everything she wants. But is it possible to order half portions? There’s too much, we might not finish it.”
Xia Siyu fud, “If we can’t finish, we can pack it up. Can’t you finish it?”
Well, it was obvious she was deliberately provoking him. Bo Yan had no choice but to smile and say, “Let’s serve it as she requested.”
The waiter nodded and left, but not before saying, “There’s a condints area over there if you’d like to mix so.”
Before the words were even finished, Xia Siyu darted up. When she ca back, instead of preparing condints, she had ladled out two bowls of white fungus soup. As Bo Yan reached for them, Xia Siyu pulled the pumpkin porridge away protectively, “Both bowls are mine, if you want so, get it yourself.”
Bo Yan had already eaten dinner and just chuckled seeing her like this. He got up to prepare condints, and Xia Siyu, sipping her porridge, didn’t forget to add, “Make mine spicy.”
The food arrived quickly, and Bo Yan, wearing a mask, continued grilling without eating. Xia Siyu, however, devoured it without reservation. Her hair swept into the condint bowl while eating, and Bo Yan quickly got up to tuck it behind her ear, but she didn’t mind. Fortunately, she was facing away from the servers, otherwise, if seen dining alone with Bo Yan, it might cause trouble.
After quickly devouring three plates of at, Xia Siyu felt about seventy to eighty percent full. With all the dishes served, Bo Yan also asked for the beer bottles to be opened, and Xia Siyu didn’t bother playing the lady, drinking straight from the bottles. A rush of air burst out, splattering Xia Siyu. Bo Yan hurriedly grabbed tissues to wipe her off, “No one’s fighting with you. Slow down.”
