Wang Ju has a tradition when coming to Cannes, bringing along a photographer for casual shots. Besides the promotional photos of each actor, he also creates candid films and albums for the crew. This is why Bo Yan and Xia Siyu have been waiting in the hotel for them to appear. Although participation is the main focus, taking a photo here and boosting one’s image is still feasible. Though she and Xia Siyu are competitors, they are not enemies; their individual progress suffices.
Moreover, the deal set between them about achieving the age of thirty involves China’s dostic awards, never accounting for Europe’s big three and the Oscars.
