Xia Siyu was all smiles, completely forgetting the near-death experience she just had. She imdiately made a request: "Then I want grilled lamb chops! With lots of chili!"
Imagining the little lamb chops sprinkled with cumin and chili powder, sizzling with oil, the delicious taste almost made her tongue co alive.
Wei Jingjing didn’t object. Normally, Xia Siyu ate diet als, eating beef and lamb, but grilled lamb chops obviously looked very fatty.
Oh well, she rarely gets frightened. Let her eat!
Seeing no objection from Wei Jingjing, Xia Siyu went a step further: "And grill a pig’s trotter. First braise it, then grill it, for the best flavor!"
She turned back and noticed Wei Jingjing’s eyes looking different, so she cheerfully explained, "I almost got my hand caught and hurt earlier. They say you should eat sothing that resembles the body part you want to heal, right? I’m just thinking of nourishing my body."
Wei Jingjing spoke up: "You should make her so pig brains too."
Xia Siyu nodded: "Yes, yes, make it spicy, with lots of chili peppers!"
She was almost drooling as she spoke, adding, "I really almost got my hair caught just now."
Wei Jingjing coldly said, "Right, as dumb as a pig, eat more pig brains to boost your intelligence."
Even Xia Siyu, as clueless as she sotis was, could hear the difference in that comnt. But fortunately, despite Wei Jingjing’s scolding, her ordered grilled lamb chops and pig’s trotter were served, along with a bowl of pig brains.
Xia Siyu happily devoured her al while saying with a grin, "Our Jingjing is really nice."
Wei Jingjing pouted at the side, thinking that if it weren’t for the diet needing cheat als, she would never allow her to eat so recklessly.
If Xia Siyu were to order by herself, it wouldn’t be a once-a-week cheat al but an everyday cheat al—not deceiving the brain but herself.

After lunch, Xia Siyu changed into the backup costu, her hairstyle was redone, and her makeup was reapplied.
During her makeup session, Wang Ju found a stunt double to run through the scenes, repeatedly testing angles, adjusting the Weiya, and tweaking the lighting and cara shots. Only after ensuring everything was utterly safe did he let Xia Siyu co back on set.
By the ti they began filming again, it was almost 4 PM.
Luckily, it was sumr, so even at 4 PM, the sky was still bright. Since they had made several adjustnts in between, Wang Ju was serious: "One take! Do it well, aim for one take!"
Truthfully, even if they didn’t nail it in one take, he felt bad keeping Xia Siyu any longer. He had overheard her and Wei Jingjing discussing ticket booking tis earlier. After all, stars have schedules, possibly other unavoidable comrcial activities, not to ntion that she had just narrowly avoided an accident. Willing to continue filming was already very considerate of her.
But Xia Siyu was quite serious, wearing her costu, looking stern, swiftly flipping and leaping across the sky. Landing on a treetop with the tip of her toes, she seed to notice sothing, and at the mont she turned back, a branch snagged her mask, pulling it to the ground, revealing a face full of surprise, calmness, and imposing presence. Even her eyes transitioned naturally from initial cold sharpness to a slight confusion as she flew away. Her flying hair and fluttering robe looked incredibly graceful.
"Cut!—" Wang Ju called cut. Initially worried that Xia Siyu might be too scared to perform, he found that she handled herself naturally, not affected by the earlier incident. This take’s expressions were even more perfect than before: "Very good, thank you for your hard work."
But before Xia Siyu’s toes touched the ground, she quickly asked, "Was this take okay?"
