If it weren’t for this romance reality show, which truly has no script, the production team would be itching to drag Xia Siyu back and follow their planned storyline.

Although other contestants’ first etings can also be full of twists and turns, when the production team asked what kind of house they wanted to stay in, they asked separately—the higher the desired standard of the house, the more humble the transportation to the eting.

For example, Zhou Weiwei wanted to stay in a villa facing the sea with spring blooming flowers, so her journey involved taking the bus and subway, while her young boyfriend took a taxi.

The production team knows very well that twists and turns create drama.

And although once they are in their rooms, the production team won’t provide a script for any activities, they naturally set so limitations. For instance, they will deduct from their living expenses, but they’ll only inform everyone once they’ve entered the door.

But now, they feel like they aren’t dramatic enough; Xia Siyu is the real deal.

She seems to have completely forgotten that this is a dating show, not even thinking about eting the male guests. She didn’t even bother to wear makeup and changed into very casual, holy clothes. Except for her height, great figure, and fairness, she looked just like any passerby.

If it wasn’t for the microphone pinned on her that couldn’t be removed, she probably would have ditched it too.

The photographers trailing her were speechless, but since they had already agreed on the process, they couldn’t interfere. Reporting back to the director’s team, the director likely hadn’t seen a participant like her before, so he thought for a mont and then said, "We just started filming; don’t disturb her. We’ll see in a bit."

If she’s really daring enough to play by her own rules, they’ll have to enforce so rules early to bring her back on track.

Xia Siyu really seed like she was out shopping, patrolling around the area.

She had lived in such houses before and wouldn’t find everything new and exciting. But her first stop was a hospital, relying on having her mask and the fact that the filming was done quietly; she boldly mingled with the crowd and even scanned a health code. The trailing reporters were worried she might get recognized and cause a scene, but Xia Siyu didn’t worry at all.

After a round around the hospital, she intended to explore other directions when the director’s team received a call: Bo Yan had arrived.

To be cautious, while the photographers couldn’t approach Xia Siyu, the director’s team could text her: the male guest had arrived.

That’s it, let’s see how you handle it.

Unexpectedly, Xia Siyu had no intention of handling it at all.

She glanced at the ssage and completely ignored it, continuing to walk forward.

Bo Yan ca downstairs to the apartnt complex, without much tension, and went straight up.

The director’s team couldn’t take it anymore. Although they knew those two were a couple, weren’t they supposed to pretend to be "candidates"? They should at least act it out a bit. The following crew went up and said, "Mr. Bo, did you prepare any gifts for her?"

Bo Yan feigned ignorance, "Do I need a gift? I’m the gift."

Then he laughed and said, "I do have one."

He then took out a box, nicely wrapped. From the photos, you couldn’t tell what it was.

Bo Yan laughed and said, "This is a family heirloom, a gift my mom prepared for my future wife."

The caraman was a bit confused, "If I rember correctly, your mother..."

Bo Yan nodded, "She passed away when I was in elentary school."

The caraman tilted his head, looking at the box, confused, "Then this..."

Bo Yan just smiled, not saying a word, and his expression was clearly "You lost if you take it seriously."

He went upstairs, opened the door to the apartnt. It was an old layout with two bedrooms and a living room, dated furnishings, yet quite cozy. Xia Siyu just provided a direction, while the director’s team arranged the house, and they furnished the room.

Once Bo Yan got in, he saw the shoes scattered on the ground, didn’t need to think—Xia Siyu had been here, but since the shoes pointed towards the door, she had already left.

He put his luggage in the living room, "I’ll go find her."

Why doesn’t this pair follow any common logic? Other couples might already be sweet-talking each other or preparing a cozy lunch. Yet this pair, one leaves imdiately to wander outside while the other follows.

Bo Yan was heading out, but the key was, did he know where to find Xia Siyu? Or was there so connection between them?

The trailing crew asked, "Do you know where to find her?"

Bo Yan shook his head, "I don’t."

However, Xia Siyu booked this kind of room; he could probably guess the situation.

The most important person in Xia Siyu’s life right now might be him, but the most essential one is and has always been only her mother. She lived a rich life from childhood, and after entering the entertainnt industry, she quickly rose to fa. The only ti she might have stayed here was during the year she took a break from university until the movie was released.

The last ti Xia Siyu told him, during that period, she and her mom had completely fallen out with the Xia Family. They also moved out of the place Xia Youbiao had prepared for them, and at that ti, her mom was sick.

If she was impressed by that period, she must have gone to a hospital.

Even if it’s not the sa hospital where her mother stayed, similar settings can evoke similar feelings.

And daily-life related places around here, like supermarkets and markets.

"But I think she must have wandered around here, checking out parks, supermarkets, hospitals, or sothing." Bo Yan opened the fridge; besides the sponsor-provided milk and supplents, it was empty. In the kitchen, there were only basic seasonings and no ingredients.

Indeed, after Xia Siyu left the hospital, she headed straight toward the supermarket.

Bo Yan also stepped out. The male celebrity was also casually dressed, wearing a clean and neat casual outfit. Once downstairs, he pulled out his phone; he didn’t contact the director’s team nor her. Instead, he searched the map for the nearest supermarket.

Xia Siyu went first, so she arrived first. She entered the supermarket and didn’t head to the fresh produce section but went straight to the seasonings aisle.

Although the room had basic seasonings, there were so tastes she liked that weren’t there, like mushroom sauce, basil leaves. After browsing the seasonings, she moved to the cups, plates, and bowls section, where she had trouble choosing between a heat-resistant glass bowl and a pretty porcelain bowl. In the end, she decided to take them all.

After buying bowls, she got so cups. Even though she’d only be there filming for two or three days, she bought several pretty cups. She even got wine glasses for white and red wine and picked a tea set. Her stance was less like shooting a show and more like moving in.

As Xia Siyu was selecting cups, Bo Yan also entered the supermarket.
