Grandpa is probably feeling a bit overwheld. His health has already been poor, and now the company is expanding. They’ve opened several new production lines and widened their reach significantly. Originally, Bosch primarily handled foreign trade, but now they are converting exports to dostic sales, with orders surging. For now, things seem to be going very well, and even the stock prices have risen, making it popular among investors.

However, this reckless expansion could be dangerous if any fluctuations occur, as it may not withstand the storm and only leave them worrying hopelessly.

Now, since he has handed the company over to Bo Qiliu, even if he tries to question him, Bo Qiliu isn’t likely to listen anymore. Previously he acted like a good son because he hadn’t accessed any power. Now that he’s the one calling the shots at the company, why should he still be under Dad’s control? With a smile, he retorted, "You take care of your health, the company is in my hands."

So, this New Year’s, the clear-headed mbers of the Bo Family are filled with worry, while those rejoicing in their newfound power are oblivious to the looming crisis. As for Xia Siyu and Bo Yan, the two spectators, the excitent doesn’t concern them - they happily enjoyed a reunion dinner. Xia Siyu even had the mood to critique, "This year’s dishes are a bit heavy-flavored, they’d be better lighter."

It’s rare for Grandpa to have handed the company over to the elder uncle’s family. Bo Yan has been focusing wholeheartedly on filmmaking, with no conflict of interest, resolving the awkward competition that had lasted for over a decade on this New Year’s Eve. Besides Xia Sicai, who still holds a grudge against Xia Siyu due to the loan, Bo Qiliu now feels entitled to show so "concern" for his younger relatives: "Heard you’ve encountered difficulties while filming recently?"

Bo Yan nodded honestly: "Yes, money is tight, filming movies is a costly affair. Luckily Siyu borrowed so money from her dad to ease the financial crunch. If the film doesn’t recoup its costs, I might have to sell my house to pay off debts. After all, it’s Dad’s money we borrowed."

Many of the S Level blockbusters are jokingly dubbed as "money-laundering" productions. However, even after deducting star salaries, unless focusing on a low budget, substantial funds are still necessary. Amounts vary from tens of millions to over a billion, which isn’t affordable for average investors.

Hearing this, Xia Sicai felt a pang of realization. No wonder Xia Youbiao felt so happy lending money to Xia Siyu. She is so smart with using retreat as advance; borrowing money and making a note, repaying before the due date. Next ti she needs a loan, won’t it be even easier? It’s her fault she got carried away at the ti, thinking her dad favored Xia Siyu, but she was just deceived by her.

Yet, Bo Yan’s words reminded both her and Bo Yi. If the repaynt isn’t made on ti, she would be more than happy to "remind" them.

Although Bo Yi and Xia Sicai are annoying, their son is now over a year old. He can talk and run, and upon seeing her, he imdiately runs over, hugging her leg tightly. He looked up, his chubby face with a runny nose smiling foolishly at her.

This little brat, only one and a half years old, already knows how to admire beauties. In the whole house, Xia Siyu is the most attractive, so no surprise this kid is glued to her.

Xia Sicai indeed doesn’t get along with Xia Siyu, and in Bo Family, she and Bo Yi are on opposite sides to Bo Yan and the others. However, maintaining appearances is key. She calls out to her son, "Call..."

What to call? Little aunt or auntie?

Xia Siyu replied with a smile, "Anything is fine, just don’t call Uncle."

Xia Sicai didn’t grasp the aning behind Xia Siyu’s words, but Bo Yan understood.

This kid actually has a little uncle, and he is a few months younger. Unfortunately, Li Yiru is too discreet to bring the child to the Bo family. Otherwise, during this festive season, it’d be lovely to have family reunions, allowing the child to see the father and grandfather, and recognize relatives; it’s just awkward otherwise.

Nonetheless, this is the most "harmonious" New Year’s dinner experience in the four-five years since Xia Siyu got married here. After dinner, Xia Siyu and Bo Yan set off together.

Unlike last year when Dad would specially co to see her after the New Year’s dinner, this year he’s sick and in the hospital room. Moreover, she has to stream later on. At midnight, "Divine Catcher" premieres for promotional purposes.

Based on current presale figures, several million at the box office isn’t the highest. The top-ranking movie has already pre-sold two hundred million. Moreover, it seems that the cinema screenings are not too favorable, much less than the other two or three movies.

The film has been completed, and she doesn’t think too hard about it. Even if this film doesn’t perform well at the box office, it wouldn’t affect her current status. Of course, she hopes it becos a hit; at the very least if it sells well, she’ll have another representative work, and another film contending for awards boosts her fa and traffic.

Yet, it’s New Year, with the makeup artist, assistant, photographer, and everyone else off-duty. She had to improvise with a green screen at ho for her live stream.

Though casual, Xia Siyu is deeply cautious about her privacy. Nowadays, netizens are incredibly invasive, deducing your location from a shoe rack you purchased, the shoes displayed on it, surrounding arrangents, fine-tiled flooring patterns, and even a glimpse outside the window.

Despite her relationship with Bo Yan being public, she doesn’t wish for paparazzi to circle Qingcheng apartnt endlessly, thus opting to clear the background with a green screen. She intended to stream for an hour, but halfway through, she received a call.

Upon seeing the caller is dad, she imdiately says, "Today the live stream ends here. I’ll make up for the broadcast I owe you in a few days."

She swiftly disconnects the recording and switches to the call interface.

She promptly took the call not because Dad lent her money and she feels bad refusing, but rather, the heart-stopping mont when she heard he was critically endangered due to a fire was too overwhelming.

After all, Dad is still her father; blood is thicker than water. If sothing happened to him, she’d have no family left apart from Bo Yan. No matter the endless grievances and resentnts they had, when faced with life threats, all seed trivial.

However, once she answered the call, she didn’t know what to say to Dad on the other end, lapsing into silence.

Eventually, Dad spoke first: "Happy New Year."

Xia Siyu replied likewise: "Sa to you. Are you still in the hospital?"

Xia Youbiao nodded: "Yes. At ho, it’s a crowd of relatives and friends; I’d rather be in the hospital, which is quieter."

Xia Siyu paused before responding: "I’ll find ti to visit you in a few days."
