He’s really been busy lately. Xia Siyu had worked hard before to save money and pay off her father’s debts as soon as possible. Now, he’s working hard to save money and personally send Bosch Corporation to its downfall.

Besides acting, what he does most is look at reports, reviewing all sorts of data concerning Bosch Corporation over the past three years, whether publicly available or obtained through other channels.

He’s incredibly familiar with Bosch. From all these data, the financial reports of every year and each quarter, he can analyze the financial trajectory of Bosch in recent years. Bo Qiliu and Bo Yi, once they took full control, expanded Bosch’s business significantly. They leveraged the reputation built by their grandfather over the previous decades and Bo Yi’s overseas marketing tactics to indeed create several sensational internet products. This gave them the confidence to expand the production line, deceive investors, and launch a new round of financing.

Moreover, the pandemic provided a boost. Initially, when China faced the pandemic, its foreign trade indeed suffered setbacks. Later, when the pandemic erupted globally, foreign trade was hit even harder. But unexpectedly, China recovered quickly, and its stable dostic situation gave investors confidence. Especially for Bosch, a company listed on the U.S. stock market, this was a huge advantage.

With several favorable factors, Bosch’s recent financing went smoothly. Even though so company executives initially did not support Bo Qiliu and Bo Yi’s aggressive tactics, they changed their perspective after realizing tangible profits.

Although Bo Yan thought Bo Yi’s approach was tantamount to killing the goose that laid the golden eggs, he had to admit it was an effective way to make quick money. The only difference is that if he cared about Bosch, after making quick money, instead of leaving a ss and running away, he would continue to invest and maintain the brand’s value.

But while Bo Yan was investigating, he initially thought that Bo Yi had simply expanded operations too much, over-invested, and faced cash flow issues. At the slightest crisis, they would fall into a cash flow problem. However, after delving deeper into the materials, he discovered sothing shocking—Bo Yi and his team were not just over-invested but had also falsified financial reports.

For a public company, falsifying financial reports is a major wrongdoing. Broadly speaking, it’s equivalent to deceiving shareholders, which is significant enough to delist the company. These materials were crafted beautifully. If Bo Yan weren’t so familiar with Bosch, he probably wouldn’t have noticed the discrepancies.

No wonder Bo Qiliu and Bo Yi had the confidence to expand operations, create internet-famous products, conduct new financing, and even succeed within less than three years of fully taking over Bosch.

It’s also no wonder that Xia Sicai, who always prioritizes profit, is so terrified. She probably knew for a while that Bosch was headed for a major crisis. The signs were there all along. Only shareholders, who saw financial reports and stock market fluctuations, would realize a company is about to collapse. The insiders, however, might have prepared six months to a year in advance.

She might have ntioned this issue when she ca back last ti and talked to her parents about family matters, planning her way out early.

Since he knew about the potential issues at Bosch, but Bosch currently seed to be developing well, and there was no imdiate internal exposure of the financial report falsification, he had to wait for the right mont on one hand and prepare money on the other.

To move such a large corporation, talking about billions is minor. He certainly didn’t have that much money, so lately, he was really considering mortgaging his villa. Back when he had no money for movies and TV dramas, he didn’t mortgage the villa. Ironically, now, to personally send Bosch off, he’s considering it.

Balancing acting and all these tasks, he’s been genuinely exhausted in the past ten days. With more work, there’s certainly less ti for personal matters. However, he’s also been sowhat intentionally ignoring Xia Siyu, preferring not to deal with her erratic emotions.

Xia Siyu sotis behaves one way, then another, eager one mont and disinterested the next. Sotis she’s very affectionate with him, and other tis she’s furious. He was so focused on Bosch’s issues that he didn’t have much attention to spare for her.

Moreover, they’ve been together long enough that there’s no need for excessive explanations; they both understand each other’s feelings well.

Though there are occasional tiffs, her temper always cos and goes quickly, and he didn’t give it much thought at first.

But recently, especially yesterday when Song Fengzhi ntioned getting scolded by Xia Siyu while buying souvenirs, he slowly realized she might still be angry.

As luck would have it, he had to return to Yancheng for an event today. Although initially, he didn’t plan to visit ho, when your wife is upset, it’s best to go back and appease her. Worst case, he’d endure her scolding and a few hits. He even inford the makeup artist to use a bit more concealer if necessary tomorrow.

But when he opened the door, the house was empty.

Or so it seed, the house was in chaos. Xia Siyu had a habit of leaving any place she stayed at as if it had been hit by a level seven earthquake. Clothes were scattered everywhere, and things were left lying around with no one tidying up. He was used to it; usually, when she made a ss, he’d clean up after her.

However, this ti the ss was systematic: all the clothes thrown about were his, as were the personal items. It seed Xia Siyu had thrown all his belongings out of the bedroom, as if declaring war on him.

Bo Yan was speechless. After coming ho, he tidied up the ss. He folded the clothes back into the wardrobe, and organized the personal items. Fortunately, she probably had housekeeping done, as despite the ss, the house wasn’t dirty, and the laundry was done.

Once he finished cleaning up, it was already late. Bo Yan washed up and went to the bedroom, looking over so materials while waiting for her. Before he knew it, it was three in the morning, and she still hadn’t returned.

Despite her reputation for loving parties and scandals, Xia Siyu was a hobody who detested clubbing. If she ever went to a nightclub, she’d sit there nibbling on spicy duck necks all night, not dancing on the floor.

Moreover, she wasn’t the type to go out for revenge. Her standards were high, typically dismissing others.

Thus, considering all of this, she likely had work commitnts.

It was his fault too. Since he was worried about Xia Siyu, he should’ve ssaged her to ask about her situation upon returning ho. But now it was late, and she was probably already asleep. Anything that needed addressing could wait until tomorrow.

Thinking this, Bo Yan turned off the lights and went to sleep. However, when he sent her a ssage the next day...
