Xia Siyu never expected that her casual request would cause Bo Yan to endure another exhausting journey of travel by boat and carriage.
Although she could be willful, she wasn’t the type to make unreasonable demands without limits, and now she sowhat regretted it: “You didn’t have to co.”
Bo Yan gave a wry smile: “If I had chosen death over coming here, wouldn’t you have torn to pieces?”
Suddenly Xia Siyu rembered sothing and pushed him away: “I haven’t bathed yet! I haven’t removed my makeup!”
She felt absolutely filthy, and her face was all muddy from filming. She wanted to maintain her beauty at all tis.
Bo Yan said: “I don’t mind it.”
“But I do,” Xia Siyu replied, “I’m going to take a bath.”
Bo Yan suggested: “Let’s take it together.”
Xia Siyu and Bo Yan had shared intimate baths many tis before, and bathing together was never just about getting clean – she also enjoyed the playful water gas. But unexpectedly, this ti Xia Siyu firmly declined: “No, I’ll go first.”

From behind him ca the rustling sound of Xia Siyu taking out her lingerie, and to prevent Bo Yan from seeing, she wrapped the clothes in a towel: “You better not look!”
With his back to her, Bo Yan sat and responded, “Alright, I won’t look.”
Xia Siyu, holding her clothes, went into the bathroom. Then she poked her head out again: “Don’t you dare open the bathroom door on your own! Or else, I’ll kick your little brother!”
Bo Yan shuddered. Ever since he started pursuing her, she had always been ruthless towards his ‘parts’.
He was actually very tired today; in addition to shooting scenes, he had rehearsals, and for the past week, he had been getting only four to five hours of sleep each day.
But as he sat with his back to the bathroom door, he easily noticed the contract that had fallen to the floor. Picking it up, he sorted the pages and started to read.
By the ti he finished reading, Xia Siyu had completed her makeup removal and bath. Turning around, he saw Xia Siyu wrapped tightly in a bath towel, looking as vigilant as if she were guarding against a thief. She hurriedly said, “Your turn to bathe.”
Bo Yan knew she was up to sothing and purposefully ignored her wishes: “I’ll bathe later.”
“No, you have to go now. Go take your bath, hurry up!”
She wasn’t hiding her ulterior motives at all, and it was as if she had ‘I’m up to sothing’ written all over her face. Nevertheless, Bo Yan simply couldn’t say no and reluctantly stood up: “Fine, I’ll go take a bath.”
He headed for the bathroom, quickly finished his bathing and grooming, and ca out wrapped in a bath towel, only to find Xia Siyu had turned off the lights outside. Under the dim light of the bathroom, Xia Siyu was wearing a sexy black nightgown, reclining casually at the head of the bed. His mory was sharp; he rembered that this garnt was one he had bought for her in the past, and to think that one day it would actually be worn by her.
Bo Yan stood frozen at the bathroom door. It wasn’t just his steps that were still; even his expression was stern and calm. Xia Siyu posed seductively for quite a while, with one arm propping her head while lying on her side, her arm getting sore from the pose, but he showed no reaction whatsoever. Xia Siyu felt slightly deflated: “Don’t I look good?”
For the first ti in her life, she lacked confidence in her own beauty. Clearly, she was attractive, with an even better figure, and the nightgown had a 36C bust which she filled out completely, yet Bo Yan showed no reaction at all!
