Chapter 859: Chapter 850 A Song (6)
Wei Jingjing hurriedly went to tell Xia Siyu, but Xia Siyu was still hanging from the Weiya. She was filming a fight scene on top of the city wall, performing sorsaults. Without a phone on her and unable to check, she could only wait until she ca down.
Since it was a fight scene, and a group scene at that, with arrows and blades involved, it wasn’t enough for just her movents to be perfect—everyone else had to be flawless as well.
Even if the actors perford well, if the cara didn’t capture the scene properly, they would have to reshoot it anyway.
Xia Siyu spent the whole evening jumping up and down on the wires, for several hours. As 9:30 approached, they still hadn’t nailed the shot. Not just the crew, even the director was starting to feel deflated. It was the male lead who said, “Director, may I go down to use the restroom?”
Having spent hours without passing a single take, this was an unusual experience for Xia Siyu, as she usually fild dramatic scenes, except for the ti Wang Ju made her practice dancing all afternoon. Exhausted, the mont she hit the ground, Wei Jingjing swiftly handed her a phone and inford her of the ti: “9:30.”
Realizing the situation, Xia Siyu dashed to the nanny van without even fixing her hair. Initially connected to the extrely slow WIFI of the movie town, she quickly turned it off and switched to cellular data in frustration to stream the event.
Bo Yan was on stage, clad in a white shirt and jeans, with a simple makeup look, but the simplicity only highlighted his extraordinary charm even more. And it wasn’t just her who thought so—when he appeared, his fan club, holding light banners below, went wild cheering for him.
The host made so simple conversation with him and then said, “Bo Yan, we’ve seldom heard you sing. In fact, we’ve never heard it before. Pretty excited, huh?”
Bo Yan smiled: “I just wanted to sing for soone important to .” As he said this, his eyes were on the fan crowd below, who were cheering frantically, and the barrage of comnts on the live stream was so intense that Xia Siyu couldn’t even see Bo Yan’s face.
Looking towards his fans, they too believed that Bo Yan’s words were for them.
Especially when Bo Yan gave a WINK to the cara, not overly expressive, but it made the viewers’ hearts flutter.
Xia Siyu had always been the one on stage, and never thought that one day she’d be watching from below as her man declared his love to her—the joy, comfort, and happiness were feelings she had never experienced before. Then Bo Yan brought a guitar onto the stage, sat down, and started to play and sing softly, the love song “Nothing Gonna Change My Love For You.”
Bo Yan’s voice was slightly deep, resonating with the unique warmth of a baritone. The background music was soft, bordering on acapella. Although he had recorded the audio, you could tell he was actually singing live—calm and profound, unrushed, with no excessive highs or lows, stabilizing his voice with ease, as if by fate.
Perhaps the world changes, perhaps emotions fluctuate. He couldn’t guarantee that he would love her so deeply forever. But no matter what happened, it seed unlikely that anyone could replace her in his heart.
By the end of the song, Xia Siyu was still imrsed in his singing, and so were the frenzied comnts on the live stream.
But, she wasn’t going to ssage Bo Yan to tell him she specifically ca to listen to him sing—how embarrassing that would be~
