Chapter 894: Chapter 885: Missing the Mark (5)
Xia Siyu had booked a resort at the edge of X City this ti. Moreover, it was a hot spring resort. It was only during check-in that Wei Jingjing realized why Xia Siyu had said that any arrangent would do for the three of them, because she had directly rented two villas.
After all, it was not convenient for her and Bo Yan; they couldn’t possibly go to a communal bath, so they had to opt for this type of hot spring with private baths. Each villa ca with one, and upon entering, you could sll the faint aroma of steam.
Of course, the hot spring was definitely ant for her and Bo Yan’s use.
Jingjing and the others stayed in the villa next door, which also ca with a hot spring. With one on each side, there was no need for anyone to fight over it. Moreover, since they bathed separately, Siyu could unscrupulously forgo a swimsuit and co in bare.
Although Bo Yan was worn out from the journey, in terms of hardship, it was Xia Siyu who had been pushed harder recently. Never before had she worked as arduously as she did this ti during filming. Her previous filming experiences, the toughest being in the Northwest for “Spring Light,” were more due to poor objective conditions, but filming had not been as tiring. In demanding films like Wang Ju’s “Storm,” they would ticulously pick apart the details of each facial expression and movent of hers.
After all, these were art films, and no matter how they were shot, that was all. Not to ntion urban dramas like “Youth,” which were almost second nature to her, allowing her to breeze through many scenes.
But this ti, Director Ji’s film was genuinely exhausting, in the literal sense. She played the female lead and had a lot of action scenes. Just wearing ancient costus every day was botherso enough, plus all the jumping and maneuvering, not to ntion being suspended by the Weiya wires for several hours straight without respite. After initially completing the dramatic scenes, they gradually increased the intensity and difficulty of the action scenes. With just over half a month until wrap-up, the closer they got to that ti, the greater the pressure and the more challenging the action beca.
Especially before wrap-up, several extrely difficult action scenes were scheduled, including the one where the forr female lead, Zhang Fan, was injured. Xia Siyu hesitated about calling for a stunt double but also wanted to give it a try, so she had been training recently.
Booking the private hot spring had also been strongly supported by Bo Yan. He had never tried playing with Xia Siyu in a hot spring before, and was looking forward to it slightly. Yet, when she stripped down and stepped into the bath, his heart ached.
Xia Siyu’s body was covered in bruises. There was a large purple one on her leg, probably from hitting sothing, and marks on her waist from the harness of the Weiya. Her arms and back also had wounds. Usually hidden by clothes, just on Christmas she didn’t have this many bruises; it had been only a few short days.
The sound of water flowing, Bo Yan slowly approached, gently laying his hand on the bruise on her back. Xia Siyu was lying with her back to him at the edge of the pool, feeling his gentle touch and assuming he was getting amorous again.
Honestly, she had booked the private hot spring hotel for two reasons: firstly, to have so solitude with him away from the film crew, and secondly, it was close to the photo studio where they were shooting the magazine tomorrow. However, she also had the intent to frolic without restraint with him.
But, truly soaking in the water washed away all thoughts, leaving only a feeling of extre comfort mixed with exhaustion.
“Does it hurt?” Bo Yan’s hand gently moved over a bruise, causing the injured skin to imdiately throb with pain, and she nodded.
Bo Yan felt distressed and wanted to persuade her not to work so hard, but the words that ca to his mouth were: “Hang in there.”
