The most critical cliff-jumping scene was scheduled for last. Initially, Xia Siyu and the male lead played out a chase battle in the snowy mountains. There was no need to be on the cliff edge; just moving through the misty trees was enough. This segnt could be completed with sharp editing, so it wasn’t necessary to shoot in one take, but the movents had to be graceful and beautiful.
When Xia Siyu was getting her makeup done earlier, she wore a military coat with down padding, but once on set, she could only strip off her heavy outerwear and don her costu. At first, wearing the Fox Fur seed warm enough, but after all, it was not the sa as a down jacket and tended to let the wind through. And as the fighting went on, the Fox Fur would be thrown to the ground in the storyline, leaving her with just a thin layer underneath, and from ti to ti, she needed to puncture the blood pack, letting out syrup that looked like fresh blood splatter on the snow, blooming like plum blossoms, creating a visual that was quite beautiful, yet the cold was real.
Xia Youbiao was seeing his daughter in costu for the first ti, and so actions even required wirework. While they felt cold even in down jackets, Xia Siyu had to wear a thin outfit and fight in the snow, which pained him deeply.

Director Ji reviewed it and indeed let her record another one, resulting in Xia Siyu rolling in the snow once again, not only dirtying herself but also visibly scraping her skin raw.
As they continued shooting, Bo Yan finally understood the bandage marks on Xia Siyu’s back from the night before. It was because in the film she was slashed by the Antagonist, spurting “blood,” and all the blade hits were focused in that area, so it was no surprise she got injured.

But the filming went on. Today, they were performing the intense “Plunge from the snow cliff” scene. There were many actors and even more extras, but fortunately, they had rehearsed it countless tis before, so the progression was sowhat smooth. Plus, so of the segnts were already shot yesterday and the day before, so the final film would rely on the editing effects.
After a quick lunch, they were set to begin the grand finale: continuous combat leading to a cliff jump. The plot was at its climax, and as batches of extras “fell in battle” on set, they could leave, leaving them to eagerly track down Xia Siyu and Bo Yan’s whereabouts!
Today, they had already caught Bo Yan at the film set!
